P. a. R. S.We participated in the ANZAC DAY service in this park on 25th April 2021 along with at least 1000 other people. The grounds were tidy, the poppy flowers not yet in bloom, but growing well. It is good to have this park designated to the memory of Nelson's soldiers.
So good to share this service in contact with others rather than our lonely letterbox vigil of last year's Covid-19 experience.

P. B.Lovely memorial Park in the heart of Nelson. Gardens are well maintained and it's lovely and shady in places which is great on a hot day. The memorial monument is quite good and, as always, deserves a moment or twos thought for those who sacrificed for freedom.

a number of well spaced seating with good shade from mature shade trees
unfortunatly there is a noise problem with major routes skirting the park.Well tended flower garden plots enhance the area
N. K.I know not so good things have happened at this park... but WOW its got beautiful. There is an organisation called giving aroha in anzac park and they feed the homeless there and its amazing to see.
A. H.Nice green spot in town. Reasonably quiet despite being surrounded by roads. Nice picnic spot, soft grass. No tables though, just seats, and plenty of shady spots under trees.
