Events held are usually a 9/10 to visit and bring the young ones.. though I wish that there was more venues to suit a wider age group with free entry. Also a playground at one corner and heaps of street side parking, if you get in quick as event days are packed 🙂

It was a great evening at Neale Park here in Nelson

Had lots going on here at the skate park/bowl and kites flying in the park

Went to the skate park next to it, very busy seeing no school. The people skateboarding and scootering are all friendly which is a plus.

There is a dedicated golf tee off area. Good to know! Bring airflow balls though if you want to practice driving unless you hit the ball like Jim Rose.

Basic sports ground, nice enpugh space to run around and play soccer. Downsides are proximity to the road and railway and its constant smell from previously being a landfill/waste site.
