A.Lots of fun stuff for little kids. Interesting stuff and animals and fruit trees and beautiful sceneries.
It would be great if there's some more shade for visitors. It was pretty sunny when we were there.
However kids loved this place and enjoyed feeding animals =)

a.Been 3 times now kids love it, absolutely a great place for the whole family to enjoy and great staff. A water station for bottles and more shaded/sheltered areas would be great.

T.Fantastic fun if you have young kids. Many animals to feed. They also have a forest nature walk, bike tracks (with bikes) and heaps of other things for children to climb and explore on. They have many picnic tables and lots of grass space so it makes a lovely picnic lunch venue!
C.Worth the drive! Just make sure you bring your own food as they only sell drinks & ice cream. Also best to put on insect repellant, wear sunnies, carry a drink bottle & wear comfortable shoes. They also don't just provide animal foods, they also give you a scoop where animals can eat from so your hands don't get icky. Scoops are really helpful for little ones who are a bit nervous in feeding animals off their hands. They have EFTPOS machine if you don't have cash. Plenty of toilet available & parents room for changing kids nappies. Highly recommend this place. Our kids had too much fun feeding the friendly animals & playing at the playground that we didn't even get to do the nature walk.
R.One of the best places to have a full day out. Pack your picnic baskets, with snacks for the 1hr30mins drive from Auckland & enjoy fun filled activities for kids to explore and have endless fun. We bought their special tickets - half price voucher for the family (2adults & 3 kids + bucket of animal feed) they have picnic tables all around the farm & can you believe they also have a Lama & 2 Deers! Absolutely awesome, definitely a 5 star rating in my eyes.

S.This place is amazing, like a perting zoo on steroids! Museum barns for us oldies to reminisce in, huge playground with stuff you won't find anywhere else and characters of the furred and feathered variety. For the princely sum of $5 you get a bucket with 5 color coded cups of feed pellets, for ponies, horses, donkeys, goats, sheep, ducks and chickens. For the over enthusiastic ducks there are pipes, or food chutes, so kids can safely feed them without getting nibbled. You could easily spend a day there. Picnic area and native bush walk completes tte experience. My grandkids (11 & 8) campaigned vigorously to NOT go but then they didn't wang to leave! Wholesome family time this good is extremely rare.
A.A hidden gem! There are so many farm animals to see and a great play area for the older kids. I'd recommend bringing a picnic along to make the most of your visit.

E.A great place for small children and adults to enjoy. You can easily spend an entire day here without feeling tired or bored. There's plenty of fun activities for kids and their parents to participate in. Nice and friendly staff. Very safe for kids to freely enjoy. Surely recommend to young families as a day activity.
W.Been 3 times and its getting better each time. Playground is well structured and interactive. Kids didnt want to leave! Son loved the hunting hut. Animals are healthy and fun. Museum pieces are added extra and well thought out. Will be back.
M.Haven't been here for years and wasn't expecting much so was really impressed! Took a 6, 8 and 14 year old who were all thoroughly engaged as was my aged, crumbly mother.
A wonderful hands on experience with a large variety of animals. Friendly staff and good information. The play areas are exceptional. Giant snakes and ladders, a rocket ship complete with control panel and Houston base control, zip line racing car, push carts, bike trail (with bikes and helmets) zipline aeroplanes that "crop dusts" sheep pellets, the best ride on trucks, helicopter, carts ever (according to kids). Theres even a hunting hut, which honestly I want a big fan of, but the kids loved it and it had some great gun safety tips so an educational experience. Will definitely be back. Have been held back in the past by the price, but well worth it. I love that picnic areas are provided so bringing your own lunch is easy.

S.Really loved Bullswool Farm Park! So many activities to do we had children aged between 2-13 and they all thoroughly enjoyed themselves (so did us adults)and didnt want to leave. Would definitely recommend Bullswool Farm Park for all ages 👍
A.Very fun and exciting for young ones and those that dont get an opportunity to see these farm animals up close. If taking pram an offroad one would be advised as no paved path only grass and gravel. Need a few more covered shelter as it started raining when we were out and didnt really have much options of shelter from rain. But otherwise a fun day out

S.Love love love this place. Its recent revamp of the playing areas is well thought out and finished so well there is a pretend helicopter a truck and a shooting range , animals and so much more. The family who run and own it are really lovely and their farm is just stunning.

J.Such a beautiful spot, friendly owners and the kids absolutely loved it. Stayed 3 hours, cooked a picnic, and could have easily stayed another 3 hours.
J.We visited with our 4 and 5 year old grandsons. We told them our destination was a surprise. On arrival, youngest said "I don't want this place to be the surprise ". After spending two and a half hours there and thoroughly enjoying the time, he was asked if it had been a good surprise. "It was the best surprise" was his response. We all loved it and rate as a must visit with kids.
J.Plenty of (well fed) animals, woolly, furred & feathered only too eager to be fed some more. The food buckets & ingenious scoops are great at keeping little & not so little fingers from teeth & beaks. Lots of activities for energetic visitors.

T.Great for exploring. I enjoyed the bird walk there are plenty fan tails to take photos of. Exploring and seeing all the animals was also fun.

S.Such as awesome place to visit. It's got a bit of everything - feed the animals, play on the pirate ship, ride the bmx tracks, do the bush or lookout walks. Take lunch and just sit under the tree with a book while the kids play.
C.We had a blast! Our family of 7 adults and 8 children aged 2-16 yrs spent about 5 hours exploring everything on offer. So much fun feeding the animals and so many things for the kids to play on. Highly recommend.

J.Spent about 2.5 - 3 hours here with the kids on our way to Whangamata. Heaps to do and lots of quirky things scattered around the park for the kids to discover. Lots of picnic tables with sanitiser and bottles of sunscreen under the shade of trees. Well worth the visit. Purchased our family pass half price for $32, usually $64 for 2 adults and 3 kids. 2 toilets on site. Take plenty of water, sunscreen and hats in sumer as it gets really hot walking through the paddocks. We'll definitly be back again.
G.Took 2 of our little grandies yesterday to Bullswool Heritage Farm and they loved the animals most of the time. Our 2yr old was abit scared at times but happy to watch her big sister. They loved the activities. In all was a good day except abit too hot for Nannie & Grandad.

S.Excellent venue and the kids had a blast. The animals were very friendly and the kids had fun feeding them and patting them. The play ground was enjoyed by them and had been spruced up since we were there a few years ago. Kids are three boys ages 7, 4 and 2. Staff were friendly also :)

A.Absolutely a brilliant place to go to, kids and adults get right into feeding all the animals, plus there are things that the kids can try out.
R.Much fun had by the whole family. Young kids enjoyed feeding the animals and especially liked the rides, which were all home made. Some have seen better days, but the kids didn't care. We enjoyed our lunch while the children played on the digger. Racing karts were particularly fun. No one else was there we had the whole place to ourselves.

T.A lovely historical, hidden treasure! I appreciated the signs giving a bit of direction on the way up to the farm as it is quite a road up to you guys! I loved the relaxed feel to the park as you are able to walk freely and walk to and from animals throughout the day. Lots of fun hand made games and activity areas for kids that they all seemed to really enjoy. Most picnic areas are shaded and that was great! The forest walk was lovely to cool down after being out in the nz sun!
I was surprised they didn't have a cafe when I first arrived but they do stock drinks and ice creams and I understand a cafe wouldn't work at bullswool farm. It would ruin the real working farm feel. Definitely bring a picnic as it is a perfect place to have one!
All and all a great place to visit for a day! Worth the travel in my opinion!

C.Absolutely fabulous place . Great selection of animals and great activities for all age groups of kids . Would have no hesitation recommending families come here for a few hours. However if you want to put a 9 to 10? Year old on reception please teach her some manners. A please and thank you don't cost anything. Very quick to upsell more animal feed though.
C.Fun place for a family outing, especially for little kids and anyone who likes interacting with farm animals. It was evident that she puts a lot of care into the farm and the raising of her animals. The native bush was equally as stunning but the paths could've been better maintained.

A.This is a fantastic place to take the children. We have been many times over the years and they always seem to be adding something new. The bike track for the older children is an awesome addition. I personally love the Bush discovery walk.

J.Very cool place to take the kids, and they are continuously adding and improving things there. Watch out for deals on Grabone etc as they often do $7 tickets etc, or just grab a family pass, take a picnic and make a day of it! The lack of one star, is that there is only one toilet, and if someone is in there and your child is busting, then ... well you will just have to wait! Maybe they should do pony/horse rides here too ... the animals are there, and little kids who don't have the chance too would love just to sit on a horse or pony and be led around!~
K.We are German tourists and came across this lovely place as it was mentioned in one of the German guidebooks. We enjoyed our 3 hours visit very much and it was something special as we normally don't have the chance to see farm animals so close up. The whole place is made up with so much love for details and the host was very friendly. A place that should be on every traveller's itinerary. Thank you for this wonderful time in your little paradise.

A.Gorgeous little farm with well tended animals, quirky play areas, thoughtfully laid out. You can buy pellets to feed the animals and there are feeders so your fingers don't get nibbled! Great for all ages of kids. Bring a picnic for a fun day trip.

C.Excellent! Lots to do from feeding all sorts of animals - chickens, ducks and ostrich to alpaca , donkeys and sheep - to playing on pirate ship, race tracks, ball sport. Plus wonderful Kauri trail and miners museum. Top quality!
S.Great place to spend an hour or an afternoon. There is about 500m of gravel road to get there. Good variety of animals. I reccomend getting the $5 container of animal food to feed the animals. Best to visit on a fine day. There are activities for all ages. The walk can be a bit callanging and muddy.

A.Lots of animals to see! We loved feeding them, and how there were lots of little things spread around the park for the kids to do. A little pricey, but we spent a few hours there. Also, no human food.

All the animals were tame an came up to the fence for feeding, an my granddaughter kissed an cuddled the sheep.
