Reviews of Paeroa Park
T.Very nice playground with lots of interesting equipment for the kids to try. You see this playground just as you enter Paeroa from SH2, there is a convenient car park and it’s just a 30 sec drive from the L&P Cafe (nice fish and chips). The playground itself is quite big, the section closest to the car park is for smaller kids and the equipment looks fairly new. There is a rock climbing statue and the playground for bigger kids has lots of cool climbs, slides and balancing steps. This playground is also next to Paeroa skate park, you can sink a few hours into this place if you really tried. Worth a quick stop if you’re travelling with kids!

B.Great park but needs some maintenance. One of the kids tramps is broken. The second is full of rubbish. The flying fox stops midway.
C.Great place for a stop and chill in Paeroa on a long road trip, has nice trees here and a pagola to sit under bonus has the Paeroa hotel across the road. Quaint little town and the people are so friendly..

R.Really good for the grandchildren. Playground is lovely. Swings, slides, a flying fox and all the climbing options. Toilets nearby so it is very well appointed.

H.This is a great little park for children with a small flying fox included. Each time I walk through it us busy with happy children using the facilities. Very close to town and public toilets. On a busy road it is a great place to stop off for travellers. The band rotunda is large and provides shelter on hot days or to eat your lunch.
A.Good half way stopping point to meet and let kids blow off steam while travelling and close to toilets 🚻
k.Its a good park as it has options for kids all ages, from toddlers to teens so it gets my tick of approval.
B.Would love to see this park expand a bit more with more options for the kids. A clean water fountain or a drink refill station would be handy also.
S.Nice place with play area for children. There are hot plates where you can warm up the food. Nice seating area as well

B.Pleasant clean and tidy park. Perhaps another 1 or 2 bench seats on the hill for adults to sit and relax or the elderly to rest up, might be good.
S.It's a nice park. The main reason I stop here is to to up my electric car while I use the loo and pick up a few things at the Countdown supermarket around the corner. They have several 16amp / 3.3kw blue commando plugs for campers. I'm usually here when there aren't m/any campers. If you stay overnight it costs $5. Pay at the nearby Caltex. I'm never there for more than an hour or so and definitely not overnight.

I.Awesome playground for younger kids, lots of different play equipment. Some equipment a bit worn but still good.
