We had a good time on board with Captain Darren. He was strong encourager to neophytes in fishing like us. We give him a good rating on that. Our complain was that, we were treated unfairly on our share of the catch. We were not given our exact catch, as we were four in our group and we’re sent home lesser than we produced, in favor of the other 2 member group. We paid their exact price, so we should be awarded our fruits of labour as is so that the experience will be repeated.

Epic day out with Darren - got me onto my first kingfish Lots of knowledge and went out of his way to make sure everyone on the boat was looked after - rigged up, sorted baits, fixed any tangles etc… Highly recommend - will be back!!

Professional charter trip on a modern seaworthy boat. We caught lots of large snapper due to the captains skills to find them and teaching us how to fish. Highly recommended.

My 10 year old son and I had a brilliant day out with Darren in Oct 2019. Son caught his biggest snapper ever and it must be said Darren was brilliant with him, giving him tips and keeping it really fun. Boat was really good, set up was impressive with quality gear and bait - with the day starting with livies. Fully recommend Days Out and a guaranteed good time with skipper Darren. Had a morning snapper trip with Darren early in March. You can not fault Darrens effort or energy (combined with good humour) designed to make the trip enjoyable for his clients. Ours certainly was, and we loved every minute of it. The boat is absolutely awesome, probably the best 9 metre charter boat I’ve ever been on, and as an ex coastguard it was heartwarming to get a decent safety briefing, and find safety items like 406 Epirbs on board. Also, Darren’s fishing gear is excellent as well, good quality kit for everyone. Thank you Darren, we will be back. 👍

Like WOW. Darren gave us the most fantastic 4+ hrs Snapper fishing. True value for money. His boat was very comfortable and extremely clean. A really lovely bloke who knows his stuff and was an absolute pleasure as nothing was too much trouble. Thankyou also Darren for sending us the photo's you took of all our fish we caught.

Great experience. Awesome boat, top operater definitely well worth the money. Darren really knows his stuff - put us all onto great fish, he is also a top bloke and a lot of fun. Went out with Derryn (Darren?)...well, the Magic Master Boatman, anyway. He was TOPS!!...I went with an American tourist friend and just took pot luck on the day...hadn't booked...WOW we were impressed!!...this guy's helpful, funny, professional, has a REALLY beaut tinny (boat)...and we caught fish....HEAPS of fish!!!!...SUCH a good value fun day!!!!
