One of the most tranquil and peaceful beach I have been into. Just wishing there's more parking and seats near the beach. Witnessed the beauty during the night with the full moon gleaming over the water. Such a romantic sight! Wishing to live in Paihia just to sit infront of the beach every morning.

Interesting historical area. Pleasant shopping area plus many tourist jaunts. Walk up to the lookout nice and not add long as advertised I did it in half the time

It's a small beach having mix of rocky and plain surface. It's cleaner and kids friendly beach in thread where there are no rocks. Also waves are not too high so it is safe too. Good walking track across. One can find family walking around from very early morning to late night. Wharf is near by from where boar is available for Russel. Overall a good place but avoid comparing with few of the most famous beaches of New Zealand

You have an amazing beach in the middle of the town with watersport activities like kayaking, paddleboard etc and a variety of bars n restaurant to choose from on the shore, just the water is a bit muddy not clear/transparent which is not a big deal I guess!

Nice beach. You will find several hotels and restaurants. There is parking for cars with trailers or campervans. There are public toilets in both corners of the beach, and there is a shower with fresh water

Truly an amazing beach. Lots of sand and shade. Can get very busy during the holidays and weekends when the weather is good. Near to the town centre and the pubs. Heaps of nice spots to enjoy fish and chips. Kids friendly in lost places but be mindful of the current.

A great little sea side town. Nice and central in the far north. We stayed there as a base to explore the far north. There's a huge choice of restaurants motels. There are ferries over to Russell. A nice and calm beach for swimming. There's plenty of tour operators ti choice from. There's a lot Kayaks for hire as well. We finished our holiday by visiting the treaty grounds. Also has some of the cheapest fuel prices up there.

Wonderful place to take a walk as the sun sets, rises, stays in the sky, or even rests as the night stars come out. Loved walking along this beach whenever I got the chance, as the water is fairly temperate and the beach never seemed to be too clogged with tourists. Will come back again someday to visit!

Relaxing spot nice family area. We stopped to rest on the beach before hitting the road again There is public restrooms and plenty of food places near by. There was a lady selling feijoas on the roadside

Beautiful beach for walking along and sunbathing. I'd be wary swimming here after seeing the 3 very large sharks that hang around the main wharf due to being fed by local fisherman. Lovely town with plenty of food outlets.

Te Ti bay side is the best beach . Has grass areas with lots of trees for shade. Small cafe and supermarket with self serve petrol station nearby . Just around the corner there's a larger Countdown supermarket, another gas station is opposite.

I is a nice place to picnic with the family on the grass under the trees. The water was cold when we were there so it was touch and go. Serious swimmers with proper suits trained there. The boats on the water was a picture to remember. A lot of little shops/cafes or restaurants is close.

Beautiful, clean. Awesome playground that is safely set up with fencing on the road side but open to the beach side. Dogs ok off playground and on lead out of peak season. Toilets centrally located. Lots of parking. Take care - busy road.

A very beautiful little township some 3.5 hours away from Auckland. A great place for school holidays especially during summer time.

It's just an average beach in New Zealand. Much better to travel a few miles up the road to the far north and see the epic "Australia style" beaches! Came across as a bit posh. Only one place for tents and that's shoved around the back of a residential sector (out of sight). The whole place reminded me of Brighton in the UK. Well past it's heyday.

Haha what can you say about Paihia. It is paradise. So much to do and see close by. The worm caves are great up there

This is a great beach for relaxing in the summer and taking a deep in the big blue wet thing. Less than an hour away from Auckland.

There are many local activities and all kinds of water related activities around this area including parasailing. You can take a ferry to Russell as well.

A wet windy early morning Saturday and no cruise ships in harbor so few folks around. Still, Paihia and Waitangi are great whatever the conditions.

I did long and walks both in the morning and late afternoon at sunset and they were all very relaxing and with wonderful scenery! Ho fatto lunghe e passeggiate sia al mattino che nel tardo pomeriggio al tramonto e sono state tutte molto rilassanti e con scenari stupendi!

I was really flashed by the whole area if you want to do a helitour go fishing or or or it's just super cool. There is so much to do. I will definitely come here again. Backed by the city of Paiha where there are many shops, nice restaurants, souvenir shops and many sports and tourist activities. There is also a market where local artisans are very present, which allows to find quality made goods in New Zealand and at affordable prices: jewelry, wooden objects, leather, paintings, etc ... Nearby Waitangui where the treaty between the English and the Maoris was signed, a place absolutely to visit as much for its history, its museum as its flora and fauna. At about 5 o'clock in the afternoon, I passed by and found that the tide was low again. I saw many locals picking up COCO. We went there too. There were many 😃, very delicious and fresh. Know the difference between Pippi and Cocoa. If you don't know if you search for pictures, you can pick up cocoa, because there is no sand to eat.
