John has done a great job on repairing and replacing the lock on my door, even did the bolt lock for me. Anthea was amazing at keeping me posted. Great job team.

We got a new Bluetooth security lock and door handle put on our aluminum door. Service was friendly they explained what they were doing...helped with the installation of the app onto my phone. No more Keys!!! Would definitely recommend.

I received fabulous service from Armstrong locksmiths. I called on a Monday morning to enquire about the cost of fitting two locks. Mitch arrived at the arranged time to organise a quote which was really reasonable and was able to fit the locks and provide extra keys on the spot. I was really impressed with how quickly the locks were fitted. Thanks for making it all so easy. I would definitely recommend the team at Armstrong to anyone.

They key for my car had disintegrated, and the ignition barrel had begun to stop turning - with my car being a requirement for my job, I stopped in during the day. After a bit they had replaced my key with a beefier version of the original key to prevent it happening again, and a overhaul of the ignition barrel. James did a fantastic job with it. The ignition is some 260,000km old, but now feeling the best it ever has during the period of my ownership. Completely recommend.

Lost me car key last year, and went to the team at Armstrong J'ville for help. They were knowledgeable, friendly, fast and a fantastic price to boot. They also sorted me out with a retriever card system to ensure it wont happen again! Thanks for going above and beyond team. Cheers

We used Wayne to fix a sticking door that was difficult to lock, he went the extra mile and made sure every part of the door was working properly. Would always recommend Wayne to anybody looking for an outstanding locksmith.

Had a special key cut here a few weeks back. They did not have the template, but no issue. The following day the key was ready. Today, I was back to get a spare car key cut. Got some honest advice and definitely recommend Armstrong Locksmiths.

Absolutely amazing! We had an internal door with a broken lock which created big access issues for us. James came out the same day and fixed the problem. He left everything clean and tidy and the charge was very reasonable. Can't recommend highly enough. Thanks too to Sam in the locksmith office for organising this.

After being told I would have to go to a dealer for a spare key for new secondhand car at another branch I rang Johnsonville Armstrongs. Brilliant service. Not only did mitch make us a key saving us hundreds but he showd us how to access the car and kept in touch while sorting out. Can not thank him enough for such amazing service.

Super friendly and responsive team, always happy to help. As a property manager I need a lot of keys cut and I've never had a problem with the keys provided by Armstrong, unlike other places I've tried before.

I went to Armstrong to get a historical car key cut (1960's mini) after visiting several other locksmiths who were unable to do the job because of the age/rarity of the vehicle - but Armstrong were able to cut me a key on the spot. We have now started using them for all of our key cutting requirements. With several rental properties we are often needing key's cut and have found other locksmiths to be inconsistent and often we need to return keys that don't work. Not with Armstrong... their keys are perfect every time. Thanks Armstrong Johnsonville, you're the best!

I cannot express my deepest appreciation and gratitude to the prompt, knowledgeable, very efficient and very helpful service received from the team on the phone as well as the wonderful mechanic /serviceman who fixed key, ignition problem with my car. They will always be first and only one to call.

From the very first phone call to the 0800 number i had a great experience. Great advice on ignition problem and quick friendly service when estimating and rekeying new ignition. Highly recommend these guys and girls!

My only car key was worn to the point where the car wasn't starting properly. I spoke with 3 other locksmiths who all made a big deal out of it; one said it would cost hundreds to get a new key cut since I didn't have the key code. I went to Armstrong and they cut a new key in 10 minutes from my original no problem. These folks are the real deal 10/10 would ruin my car key again.

Somehow got myself locked out of my house whilst hanging out the laundry - my little four month old was inside in his bouncer. Safe to say I was beside myself! Thankfully these guys came within 5 minutes and got me back inside the house. So grateful to the kind locksmith, Mitch. EXCELLENT service 😊

This review is from my partner. Here is her review and experience: Firstly, I'd like to say "thank you" to James. His approach and customer service was AWESOME. Today, I lost my keys and could not get in to my car at all. I was worried that I'd never be able to get my car out of the car park, and potentially could face a hefty penalty fee for having it there. What added to my stress is that I am preparing to go overseas in a few days. So as you can imagine, I was "freaking out" a little bit. When James got a hold of me, it was well within the expectations that were set by AA. They told me someone would call in 15-60mins, James called well within this timeframe. When James arrived, not only did he complete the job, but more importantly, he kept me at ease and basically kept my mind off of losing my keys and feeling like a total idiot. He reassured me that this happens and basically he would be there to fix it. James' approach was friendly and he talked me through things. Even to the point of telling me stay away from the front of the car when the siren for the alarm went off! James, thank you so much for your help today. Turned up on person to provide a quote and discuss options, was able to organise installation within a short period. Installer was knowledgable, helpful and able to discuss pros and cons of each choice. Installer had to call head office for support with a out-of-the-ordinary problem but got answers and resolved the issue quickly. Technology used is current and very detailed in functionality. All ancillary tools (remotes, cell apps) were demonstrated and explained thoroughly. Can't fault the product or service, superb vendor.

I was recommended by the Ford dealership in Porirua (Bruce) to go to Armstrongs and what a fantastic recommendation I am sooo impressed with my experience from Armstrong locksmiths in Johnsonville especially with Mitch and James whom were on site. On Friday 2nd October 2015 I had such an appalling service from Lock doctor in Porirua where my sister has been a regular (Until now), for 8 years. To make a long story short, 2 keys had been cut for a ford KA and after several weeks and attempts from my sister and then myself to get the keys to be corrected. Which never quite worked, to be told that the barrels in the doors needed to be replaced (even though never viewed), and on Friday morning I telephoned and received rude responses when I was trying to establish a cost of a service; then abused on the phone by one of the employees (Richard), after he put the phone down when I asked to speak to the gentleman I had been dealing with (Neil), saying "there is a stupid F&%ing B*&%," with even more expletives about me until his colleague asked if I was Tania Davis sister who is a Lawyer in Porirua. When my husband and I went out there from Wellington City for an apology he said what for?? But finally apologised but under duress it seems as said "what else do you want me to say". So, when I went later this said day to Armstrongs, NOT only did Mitch and James cut the keys to the correct code so now all the doors open smoothly, (after a very short period of time and a minimal cost as well), they did NOT pass any comment about the lock doctor after hearing of our experience. To me that is both impressive and professional...

The Armstrong Johnsonville team are awesome. Always quick for a key cut at the shop and totally reliable for advice and service onsite.

Absolutely brilliant service, i needed a tricky van key cut and was turned away by another key company and Armstrong Johnsonville came the party and sorted it all out in an instant...will always go to them from now on and their service is second to none...this is what it is to be in good business, to be treated with the respect any client deserves and even had a good laugh together whilst on site too...darn nice people, you can tell they love what they do...if i could give more than 5 stars i would... : )

Great service, dealt with Sam to get my door hinges replaced, they were obsolete, so she went out of her way before work to organise some for me, awesome.
