Has a really good dog park! Has water, good fencing... Take your own dog poop bags.

At the time I was there it wasn't a good day It was windy and it even shower a bit 🙃😅😳 so it wasn't to bad but as for the area of the park I thought maybe With alot of the extra pace within the Park area One could add more sports and games for the young and old Set up pick nik and QBB for family to take the kids out for the day

Great park, ample parking - nice area for the little ones. Came here for sons training, pays to wear a few layers though (dont let the sun fool you)

Took the kids here for a little playtime..Plenty to keep them busy and for the bigger kids there's the astro-turf surface of Bernie Woods Park with posts for rugby and football. Toilets and changing rooms are close by. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

Great place for the community, lovely park for the kids entertained, dog park to keep those dogs moving, and generous sports fields to do your sports training on and/or do some occasional lap exercises, with a accommodating artificial turf near by for those days when the grass is too wet, slippery and muddy.

Great views and lots of places to go. Nice parks that are well maintained. As well as places to buy lunch and dinner. The shops nearby are tidy and the area is a nice place to walk around.

Only fully fenced dog park in Porirua. Park has two entrances - I found the one off Parkinson Close the handiest. Lots of mature trees with shade and a drinking fountain with both human and dog levels. You will need to bring your own poo bags, as none are provided. I am also aware of other dog owners who have found multiple shards of glass in the ground (but only opened two weeks ago, so hopefully will not continue to be a problem) The glass was not an issue during my visit. There is a 'stream' that could run through it, but during my summer visit it was just a mud pit.

Great place to take a dog. It's secure, loads of friendly people and pups. It's safe, clean and quite sheltered. Even has a water fountain for dogs and humans!

This is a fantastic place. Water fountain for dogs and their humans. Lots of shade a walking area and seats. Worth the drive from Lower Hutt.
