C.Great service, tidy store and friendly staff.
I don't do much DIY so I often need some direction, questions answered or look a bit lost. Each visit I receive friendly and helpful service from staff and have either found what I needed or been provided an explanation of when it may be in, or why they don't have it.
The cafe looks nice, I've always happened to come when it's been closed or just really busy.
D. S.Been going there since they opened. Used every service in the store (from furniture, paint, garden supplies, tools, advice, cut wood, to lunch in the excellent cafe) and they have never been found wanting. Immensely friendly and know their stuff. Most impressive.

If your looking for a bargain DONT GO HERE, go to lower hutt, big aisle displays of amazing deals.

I bought 42pce Fuller pro set for $142, exact same set on Trademe was $480 (down from $530 on special) how could someone justify that 🤔.
Anyhow alot of Mitre 10 around NZ were out of stock & when I did find a store, delivery option online wasn't happening.
Jenni came to the party & super chuffed with the set, good hefty built to last quality

N.The people that work at Mitre10 Porirua (and in fact, all Mitre10 stores across Wellington) need to be trained on how to use their phone correctly - how to transfer calls, and how to answer customers waiting on the phone in a timely manner. Always happens. Apart from that, generally okay service when in store, and obviously a great range of products.

S.Great to have a cafe for feeding the kids after they've been dragged round the store for what seems like hours (actually 5-10 minutes). Did work out something useful when looking for odd bits when all the staff were too busy to ask. Goto the website, find your part online(select your store) and it will tell you which isle to look in. Or just hit click and collect and spend more time relaxing in the cafe? :)

Service is good but the guys in the bathroom section know their stuff! I found the Sun staff - not so much. The girl I spoke with walked off and never came back! That'll learn me for changing my M10 day.
BTW, Columbus food is nice/OK but it's MASSIVELY overpriced ie $10 for a pie!

Yesterday we went and picked up a van load of their cardboard for our garden. Very helpful and knowledgable staff. I can't review Mitre10 weekly so will do it yearly.

J. L.Twice in the past month we have been into the Mitre10 Mega timber yard at Porirua to get some decking timber and were met with 2 terrifice young men. Unfortubately we did not get their names. One young man served us on June 5th and cut our lengths to size for us and the second was today July 3rd when we just needed a few short lengths to complete out project. These young men were very helpful to my husband and I. Nothing was too much trouble. They were very courteous, bright and bubbly. An asset to Porirua's store. It is not our closest store but will happily drive the distance for this service.
K. O.A well-stocked store with a wide range of goods. Spacious and a little overstaffed, which should be a good thing for shoppers, but my experience with staff here is that some are much better than others in attitude and knowledge. Pricing is competitive, so don't assume the goods here are more expensive than other places with price guarantees; they are often similar and sometimes even lower. There's a Columbus cafe here too, though I can't comment on the coffee here (I have found Columbus at another Mitre 10 varied a lot with their coffee quality, sometimes good, other times very weak, have stopped buying). Plenty of free parking here.
i.Was good but Google maps screwed up the directions getting there. Took me to the trade entrance instead of the customer entrance.

d. c.Not bad place. I have to say each area eg Palmerston /porirua/kapiti are not set out the same. You drive to the location. And you walk in and you go OK. Now you walk up and down to find what you want. But it's not and you spend more time looking. I get to the point. COFFEE/FOOD.. then do the look. I'm not so grumpy and more relaxed. COLUMBUS has GR8T Food/Coffee and that is a big draw point.
