Short trail, but the lake/pond is beautiful with a large population of ducks. Great for a picnic by the water.

We had a very nice quick outing. It is a beautiful and well maintained park. Feeding the ducks was fun and baby enjoyed it very much. We took the walk up to the top to view the whole of Pukekohe. The walkways were a bit confusing, so we had to figure it out as we went along. There is only on-street parking, which made us feel a bit intrusive to the residents next to the park. Will definitely head back on a regular basis.

It is a great place to visit especially with young kids. It has few shaded areas and benches for picnics. Has a beautiful tree by he pond for photos. I wish it had more sitting places and childers playground close by to make it even better.

Pukekohe duck pond is very popular with the locals and out if town people to visit nice walk through and heaps of ducks to see kids love visiting and enjoy themselves on a nice sunny day have visited few times now and enjoyed it each time with the grandkids especially in school holidays when they need fresh air and sunshine highly recommend to all and I will definitely be visiting again

Avoid if you have a toddler..dangerous for small children as there is a ledge/drop off into the water all around the lakes edge. Older kids 6+ would enjoy feeding the ducks

Great little place for the kids or for some quiet contemplation. Plenty of ducks who aren't shy when there's food available. Pathway goes about halfway around the duck pond so good for biking or walking. You can go around the whole pond if you like but it will be on grass part of the way.

Bring some wild bird seed and feed the ducks up on the grass :) Wild bird seed is cheap, and much better for the birds than bread. Quite a variety of different ducks at this pond... and upwards of 100 ducks in total!

Really nice park. There's a great walk ip to the Gondala. I've not done it for few years but its great. The duck pond is great. Good opportunity bring kiddies down feed ducks. Seaguls get a bit greedy be careful.

A nice place to stop for lunch. Watch out for the ducks and geese here though. They will mob you as they're used to being fed by the locals. A picturesque place for photos. Be mindful also of all the duck excrement, not the best place for kicking a football around. lol

If you want to feel like get chase my some animals. Here we go! The lovely ducks army 😁..not far if you want to run away from.them further. We have Cape Hill to run up then you can enjoyed lovely scenes here in one stop. Good for every ages

Don't go there without taking grain for the ducks , don't take bread this is bad for the ducks. We bought 5kg of maize they really loved that.
