Fantastic collection of restaurants. Our favourite was Our House which offered a delicious selection of good Kiwi food at reasonable prices.

"Our House" Has an amazing menu with even better customer service. Food always tastes better when the atmosphere is good 🙌 would defs go back to get another Iced Snickers Shake, Hands down one of the best dessert shakes Ive ever had!!!

Went to Ambrosia, I got the prawn ravioli but my pasta was cold lol my hubby got the mussels and they were quite hot. We then got the aged steak and roast veg, I got undercooked vegies and beautiful steak, but oh my god the dessert was amazing!!

There is a good selection of restaurants offering a range of food to ensure everyone will be able to find something they enjoy. During the lunch hours, it's a great place to be - not too busy and much more mellow music. During the dinner hours, it's a rather frenetic, busy lane and you can't always guarantee you'll get into the restaurant you want - my friend and I were turned away from two places who were too busy. That said, I do think it's a Rotorua must-do.

Good meal but unfortunately their were 4 of us and 2 got their meals a good 5mins before other meals arrived and one was overcooked. Staff didn't check if meals were OK or if we needed anything else. Could also do with a section with seating if someone wants to choose another restaurant and get meals from more than one restaurant.

The place we had dinner at was Good George Brewing. It has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was great and maybe even too big portions. It is a place where we will go back again.

This is the place to head to if you’re in Rotorua and want a drink or food. It’s a covered pedestrian street with about 20 bars/restaurants. Good mix of places from pubs, Indian, Italian to bars. The street is heated during winter. Good location at the end of the Main Street, opposite end to the main shops. It goes onto the park and towards the waterfront.

Seems to have some variety in food, however, when we visited the place noBody had the air-conditioning on. Everyone thought balmy 32C was ok weather if you just had the door open.

Eat street is not a restaurant, it's a whole street that is just restaurants, really cool concept and really nice atmosphere and vibes The restaurant look really neat and organized There restaurant do appear to be in the expensive side and they are a bit fancy, but everyone seem to wear casual clothes so no worries there. I really enjoyed my visit there and the food we had was just amazing the only down side is that it was a bit expensive

Absolutely love this 'streat'! Lots of eateries to choose from, so obviously quite competitive amongst the business. In terms of opening hours for Christmas, on the day there was only Wild Rice Thai open, rest were closed. When boxing day came around, they were all opened. Parking is convenient and food quality is amazing. Must go if you get to Rotorua.

We went to two places in Eat street, both with excellent food, although the Indian restaurant took an exceptionally long time to bring out the food... over 30 min wait for the entree. You'll need to spend a fair number of days to eat your way through all the options!

An excellent addition to the Rotorua dining experience. Long time since we were in Rotovegas and remember being disappointed in the restaurant offerings. Eat Streat provides a wide range of food and price choices, and all of the comments we heard were generally positive. Lots of street parking nearby, and a short walk to lakeside if you have eaten too much. Highly recommend a visit (we ate at Wholly Smoked)

We ate at the Macs Steakhouse and the atmosphere, decor, and service was really good. My wife ordered the Hash stack vegetarian option and i had a scotch filet. I can say wholeheartedly the food was SUBLIME. Waiter was really welcoming, attentive and eager to give us great service. Would visit again in a heartbeat.

And I was impressed with the bathrooms, I was a little worried they would be dingy but they were quite nice and very clean! I can only complain about the fact I didn't know about this place sooner! We are leaving today unfortunately. I would have loved to have a dinner meal. Maybe look into advertising if it's in the budget? I hope I can come back soon! Thanks guys!

I have eaten at most restaurants on eat street and the food was delicious. Restaurants vary in price so there is something for everyone. There are also a few bars that are quite good like the brew bar that sell craft beers and ponsonby road. Overall its a great dining experience.

Eat Street is a perfect name. You can check Indian, Italian, New Zealand and many other types of food. Ice cream is at Jane's. The covered walkway between all the sidewalk cafes makes it a nice place even if it rains. Music increases the festive mood.

All shops have wheelchair friendly access. Multi coloured lights showing the more lovely of our food. You will get some Chinese spice(hot) food. Italian pesetas is very nice.

It's a great selection of restaurants. Mixed in with the typical kiwi bland gourmet places are restaurants of other ethnicities such as Italian, Indian, Thai, Mediterranean, etc. There is also a stone grill dining restaurant and a few nicer kiwi restaurants as well. If you're accompanying kiwis, try to decide what you want before you go. The variety can be daunting for some people trying to decide on something to eat.

A busy exciting cafe/bar area close to the Lakefront, particularly in summer. A wide variety of cuisine on offer from numerous restaurants, all with large covered outside dining areas. The underfloor heating is a real bonus in winter. Slip your shoes off, check it out!!

Cool environment, but most of the restaurants are either over priced or generic compared to the locally run restaurants a block away. For authentic Italian/Indian/Thai food for a reasonable price, head off eat street down the road on Tutanekai St.

Indian Star Restaurant was totally epic. Loved the service and when my 5 year old told me it was the BEST Tikka Masala ever, that is saying sonething about the food. No wonder they have a couple of accolades displayed on their bar for everyone to see. Well deserved.
