Reviews of Lakefront Playground
E.It's lovely had a fun time with the kids at the Park. And the walk along the new walkway is so much better it's beautiful ❤️
S.Excellent new development on the Rotorua Lake Front. Plenty of shared space for bikes, kids and walkers. Looking forward to seeing the completed project in 2022.
C.I took my students with diverse needs to this playground. They loved it. One fripped on raised edge of bike track but partly because he was being silly.
The big circular swing and flying fox were a hit!
We had hats and sunblock as mostly in full sun.
I think its amazing there.
A.The new layout is really nice. Great planting and different contrast of colors. The lower concrete boardwalks are a cool feature to keep your feet cool
J.Took my 3 kids here (5, 4 & 4) and they had a great time. Take hats and sunscreen in summer as there isn't much shade over the playground itself and it gets super hot out there!
Plenty of space to run and play and the trees around the playground offer some beautiful shade! Take the kids bikes as there's plenty of flat paths to ride along the lakefront. It looks like it's just been done up and it looks amazing!
If there happens to be the Teariffic bubble milk tea food truck there then I recommend you visit him! I got an m&m milkshake supreme for my kids to share and a kit kat bubble waffle for myself. In the interest of safety I tested the kids one aswell and both were delicious. Support local and get yourself some bubble tea!
C.Another local council initiative that has taken ages to upgrade, and where fenced off areas continue to make accessibility cumbersome!!! Currently the old playground is still accessible and months (years) later we wait for access to the new playground!!
K.Cute park, lots of geese, black swans and ducks. Park view are nice too
S.Currently under construction being revamped. Estimated time is 2030 for completion of all stages. The final result is great. Still great lookout there.
M.Great playground for the kids. Not enough shade close to the play areas though.
