This place has grown on me, albeit you have no other theatre options. When I first moved to Rotorua, it wasn't all that amazing but they've invested in more comfortable seating, become a little more environmentally aware and honestly, compared to Auckland, the ticket prices are fair.

Yeah pretty alright, chairs are a bit too straight up and down though... hurts the back a bit especially since you're there for 2hrs

The snacks are slightly over priced but the staff are always nice, the seats are very comfortable since the renovationand the cinema rooms are always clean as well as the bathrooms. I just wish people would actually take their rubbish with them as they leave the cinema rooms so the staff don't have to clean as much.

The popcorn was average small pieces and far too much salt. Otherwise lovely friendly staff.

Well it looks like the thrill and excitement of going to the movies has been over-ridden by Netflix et al. But I loved the popcorn and icecream, the plush seats and being the only one in the theatre. Hope this experience endures Covid and technology 😘

The staff members are friendly🌛 The studio is always clean and neat. Great quality of movie, sound system, and lighting too! Valuable combos on popcorn and drinks! Recommended to anyone thinking a good way to spend a part of their day!💟

The smallest reading cinemas I have being to. I found the customer service was pleasant, the ticket area was small and a bit messy. They cleaned the cinema nicely before we went in.

Seats are new and uncomfortable.. and you have to share the armrest with the person next to you . Arg

Newly renovated and delete ked out with new chairs. I prefer the old comfy ones so I can slouch. Couldn't just sit back and relax, instead I had to adjust myself to be comfortable so often. Sitting up right, with the design on the chair, wasn't suitable for watching the screen. We were right smack in the middle because this is where I always aimed to be. I think seats at the back might be better. Ticket price has gone up and kai price too. Won't be back for ages.

If you have exactly 2 kids plus yourself be prepared to spend up to 50-60 bucks for admission plus shared snacks. 3+ kids just forget it. Fmovies has the latest movies online free

Great night out! Was very well priced to not expensive which makes me want to go back again. Having popcorn and drink combos was fab 2 cinema nights down many more to come.

Very much enjoyed our experience here. Not very busy, midday during a week day, Which I like, Service was prompt and efficient. Cinema was clean and tidy, overall a good place to escape the kids while they are in school.

Not terrible pricing for a movie $12.00. The large popcorn and drink cost more than a movie ticket. The popcorn needed more butter, I guess that isn't a thing like it is in the states. It was interesting that the movie theater also has you choose a row and seat. I guess that is to prevent movie hoppers. The theatre itself was not terrible. The seats although more plush than normal seats were too upright and a bit stiff. The movie itself was not fit to the screen there was a good 2 ft or more on either side of the movie. The movie itself was pretty good. Annoyed with the people behind us, kicking and throwing popcorn the entire time. Then we had a gal on her phone consistently throughout the movie. Some people just cannot be courteous to others during the movie.

Good film, good food...

Went to see 'Mary Poppins Returns' so the queue was long and slow. Then it got better. The theatre seats were very comfortable and the movie quality was great. Good value for the money.

Without a doubt the best cinema I have been to. Tickets are only 12 Dollars, Large popcorn is actually large and the service is very friendly. The seats are really comfortable and have PLENTY of legroom. Even the pre movie ads were good and show just how much the public love and support this cinema. It is a must go cinema and I will happily go back here next time.

Nice clean movie theater. Prices of tickets and drinks was quite reasonable. Sound of the movie was really loud but maybe I'm just getting old haha. Nice big fat seats with room to stretch out your legs. Overall pretty happy

The chairs are leather and comfortable. Although they are reclined in a very short amount only so if there's a tall person in front of you it's harder to see. Also, there's only one popcorn flavour which is just plain. Screen is huge but I recommend sitting in the middle and a little bit far from the screen so your neck wouldn't hurt looking up all the time.

I like the new update to the place. It seems more roomy. The seats are now allocated which can make it good if you get in early if not you'll be like me and have a sore neck from sitting at the very front.

Great time with my son watching Avengers Infinity War. Comfy seats, great screen and good sound. Was a quiet day so wandered in got tickets, sat down and enjoyed. Great on a cold wet day.

Cheaper ticket prices than anywhere else and a nice little theatre. It's just a shame when we went in the school holidays the place looked like a bomb site. Popcorn was spilled everywhere and to make it worse three staff were standing around talking. I guess it wasn't there job

Great seats, large screen, half a dozen people and good sound. What more could you ask for.

I actually liked going to the cinema. Costs $10.50 for adult. We got a combo which consisted of 2 ice cream, 2 large drinks and 1 large popcorn for $20. Pretty good deal. There are other combos to suit. Go on give it a go!

Lovely staff. Good if you're on a budget, you're not supposed to take your own food in. But I think they know the struggle is real and dont look down on us mums with jam packed school bag rustling away as we pass them. Big ups to yous for providing a family friendly service without judgement.

Movies were clean, toilets clean, although they didn't do anything to stop the 3-4 children jumping over chairs, yelling, playing etc.

If ya going to do the place up, do it up through out the hole place, toilets are a let down big time, staff need to explain how the new system works as we haven't used it before. Love the recycled straws. Cant wwit to go back to see if things are still changing.

Took a group of kids. Great quality amenities, comfortable sized cinema. We went during holidays and they'd run out of booster seats, but even the littlest were able to see well enough.

No lighting outside when we went to leave after an evening movie which made it more difficult for me. As I need a walking stick at present and need to use the ramp. Also there wasn't any convenient seating inside for those with disabilities to make use of while waiting to go into the cinema. Lots of popcorn on the carpet everywhere, and sure you aren't going to trip on that but it isn't easy to walk on. Small foyer and no one was checking tickets for entry for a good 10 mins so if you were minded to it would be easy to slip in without paying.

It is a cinema. I am a sucker for good old fashioned popcorn (yum)and movie. And the seats are luxurious and comfort.

The only movie theater I’ve been to in Rotorua. This cinema complex has just been upgraded and the seats are pretty good, not the comfiest though. Price of the tickets are reasonable but I liked it when it used to be just $10. Lol

Good. Shows good and new movies. The site is good and has alot of information about them. Easy to know when the movie is on and you can buy tickets online or in-store even pre buy tickets in-store. You can buy food there but I won't recommend it. Very expensive- better to just wait till after the movie and go out for lunch or dinner or what ever or just wait before. Very clean. Good. Would recommend.

Watched a new blockbuster release. Dolby Digital audio was fantastic and video quality was great. No allocated seating unlike other cinemas though. eTix worked well too -- so skip the queue if you want to book ahead!

We saw Predator last week at Reading Cinemas in Rotorua. This is the cheapest newest cinema I've ever been to! $12 for a new movie and the drink and popcorn double deal is soooo cheap. The leather highback seats were very comfortable and felt luxurious. Well done - highly recommended!

It was a good cinema the service was really good with being a few dollars short I was still allowed in and the theatre was very roomy with seats that had enough space between each of the people in your row overall it was a well kept cinema and I would love to go there again

This is the only movie theater in Rotorua. Has really comfy chairs. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking is limited but if you are lucky to get one out front the meters have a 3 hour limit so long enough. Shop has all the snacks you would expect. Pricing is reasonable. Went in school holidays and wasn't as busy as I thought it would be. A place to visit.

Open again after being refurbished. All new seats, and now has allocated seating. Price has gone up to $12 now from $10.50. Still pretty reasonable though.

Awesome place but the seats aren't very far apart so you can just see over the tops of the seats. There's also at least 5 to ten minutes of ads at the start

This is a nice cinema with new seats. The screens are large and the sound system seems good. The tickets aren't too expensive, a great place to see new films.

On a Saturday afternoon when two massive movies for 2019 are screening, so a long queue & management think it is fine to only have 3 tills operating. Waited approx 25 minutes before being served, getting to our seat just after the 3pm movie, Hobson Shaw started. Absolutely rediculous management decision, very poor planning Steve Franklin Pukehangi

I went on Monday for the first time in years. I enjoyed the movie. The people were very nice and polite. I never used to go because it was cheaper buy the movie and watch it at home. Thanks for lowering your prices.

Food and drink prices a little steep, but overall good quality movie theatre. The price for a ticket did rise by around $1.50 but that's business.

Being the only cinema in rotorua, they are definitely full with young crowd. The tickets are pretty cheap and maybe discounted on certain days. The seats are pretty comfortable.

It is an affordable cinema with an atmospheric environment. Some of the cinema lounges are slightly small and may be over crowded for more popular movies.

(Translated) Nice, small cinema with everything, one expected from a cinema. For $ 45, we bought 4 tickets (2 adults, 2 children) for the movie "Moana". We bought our tickets online. We were able to easily print them out in the cinema with the barcode sent by e-mail. We got a big bag of popcorn and 2 large drinks for a fair $ 12. The hall had a pleasant size with about 15 rows of seats. The seats were soft, comfortable and clean. (Original) Nettes, kleines Kino mit allem, es man von einem Kino erwartet. Für $45 haben wir 4 Tickets (2 Erw., 2 Kinder) für den Film "Moana" gekauft. Unsere Tickets haben wir online gekauft. Diese konnten wir problemlos, mit dem per Mail zugesendeten Barcode, im Kino ausdrucken. Eine große Tüte Popcorn und 2 große Getränke haben wir für faire $12 bekommen. Der Saal hatte mit ca. 15 Sitzreihen eine angenehme Größe. Die Sitze waren weich, gemütlich und sauber.
