War Memorial Park is a lovely little park at the edge of Lake Rotorua. Great views out across the lake and surroundings. It also has a very good playground and facilities. There are also large open spaces to run around in and enjoy. It's free, so why not check it out?

A beautiful lakefront walk...newly planted gardens and boardwalk plus the gentle seabreeze makes this place perfect for walks...the evening would be perfect with the solar lights along the boardwalk.

Visited at the beginning of 2022 and was amazed at the development of new gardens and walkways and picnic areas along the foreshore. Don't forget the lovely walk around to Sulphur Point that follows the shoreline.

All the Parks near town & Lake Rotorua are really interesting to take the time to walk through and experience the art work, beautiful natural springs and lovely gardens. Even in June there are flowers nice native trees.

The playground is cool for the kids still under construction but it stinks and I don't mean the usual rotorua smell lol its difficult to breathe (wearing a mask doesn't help) smells like pee... Rather kuirau purely because of the funny smell

Its nice to see modern art of such a terrible time of suffering. Well done to the artists. Well worth a walk through . There are other sculptures there too which is nice.

Great place to walk and ride if u hav bike's or scooter's. Awesome new park's for the kids to waste plenty of time. Heaps of separate little spaces for family picnics. Just take a gazebo or umbrella for Xtra shade and hav a blast.

Beautiful by the lakes. Nice picnic spots and close to the geysers. Under construction at the moment, which was a little off putting, but will restore its amazing facilities I am sure.

Their are areas that can no longer be accessed by vehicles (due to upgrades being done around the lakeside)but one can still park and go for a leisurely walk. The new childrens playground looks very interesting cant wait for this to open.

Lovely place even with the construction. You can sit on the benches, take a walk or let the kids play at the playground. There are public toilets available too.

Besides all the building sites surrounding playground area it's still a good place for kids to play. Has new barbecues. I couldn't find coin slot so I believe barbecues are free usage. Toilet facilities handy.

Train rides are always a fun part of visit there and it isn't just the kids that are allowed to be part of fun rides. Track is getting bigger and rides are becoming much more fun.

Memorial park . lso known as Sulphur point is a good place to via the lake and Mokoiia island. A good spot to relax or picnic. There are clean toilets plus an abundant of wild life. There are also 2 boat launch ramps

Caution if you are scared of ducks or seaplane avoid. To the council why is it taking 10years to build your vision which to my untrained eye is just a boardwalk? Whos getting the kickbacks? Enquiring minds want to know?
