Reviews of Dacre Cottage Historical Reserve
A.To get to Dacre Cottage I parked at Weiti Bay Carpark which is a 20 min walk through Okura Bush to the cottage. Dacre Cottage is a small and cute historical building made of red brick and was built in 1855. It is surrounded by a sweet cottage garden and a white picket fence. The surrounds are populated by various mallard ducks who were resting in the shade of the trees. Not far away was some long drop toilets and a tap to wash hands. It was a sweet place to see and worthy of a picnic party :)

H.(Translated) Beautiful little beach. The trail from the nearby Weiti Bay Carpark is relatively gentle and easy to walk (about 25 minutes). Many of the big trees next to the trail are at least 30 meters high, which is very special. There are a large number of white shells on the beach, as well as a protected area designed for ground nesting seabirds. In short, it is very suitable for families with elders and children.

美麗的小海灘。從附近Weiti Bay Carpark走過來的步道相對平緩易行(行程約25分鐘)，步道旁的大樹許多都至少超過30公尺高，非常特別。海灘上有大量白色貝殼，還有專為地上築巢(ground nesting)的海鳥所規劃的保護區。總之非常適合家裡有長輩和小孩的家庭來走走。
