G.Such a cool vibe! We absolutely loved our stay, Joe was super inviting and very chilled out. The bathrooms were clean, you can get a decent 7min hot shower and the camp ground itself was very tidy. We definitely hope to be back!

w.Oh wow. Brilliant hosts Ruby and Joe. Such a relaxed environment in a quintessential old kiwi coastal town. Facilities are maintained impeccably. We were booked in for 4 nights and stayed 8!!!!. And to add to it, so dog friendly
L.Great camping ground nestled in Tairua close to township, harbour, beach. Lots of places to explore. It's small camping ground, yet provides safe spot for children and families alike and their four legged family members. Definitely recommend.

E.Wow. Just wow. I've stayed at a few campsites and this is definitely one of the very best! Joe and Ruby are absolutely amazing, warm and friendly hosts, their campsite has EXCELLENT facilities, which are all maintained to the highest standard. Only a stone's throw away from the beach and the locals are so welcoming, warm and friendly. Gutted I have to leave! Make no mistake this will be the first of many visits here, thank you Joe & Ruby for a wonderful stay in a beautiful place!

B.Great people. We booked on the road there and arrived at 8.15p.m. They had just had a weekend retreat on and tents with mattresses still up. They offered them to us to use so we didn't need to set up ours. We then had time to explore Tairua and made it to the beach club for a couple of beers. Clean and great amenities. We will be back.
H.Best. Campground. Ever!! The hosts, Joe and Ruby, bend over backwards to ensure your stay is the best it can possibly be. The amenities are clean, everything is well maintained and kept up to scratch all the time despite how busy it is. It’s family and doggo friendly and situated right in the heart of the picturesque beach town of Tairua, what’s not to love? Can’t wait to return.
C.All I can say is what a couple of legends! Joe and Ruby, thank you for all you help, friendly and just awesome! Had an 8 month old baby and needed a bucket to bath in, no problem, Joe sorted us out. Just really made us feel at home. Great location, clean facilities. Would give 10stars if I could!
E.Had such a great stay in Tairua - the campground was near empty, but the owner's family were so warm and welcoming. They gave us some great hints and tips on where to eat, where to walk and made us feel right at home. Everything is within walking distance and the campground facilities were so clean, tidy and comfortable. 10/10 would definitely visit again!

S.The perfect place for relaxing and my favorite of 2020. Met some amazing folk and we shared stories while we drank. So clean and refreshing. So many activities to make the most of our time there and the hospitality is homely. Healing and marvelous.

L.Hosts were lovely, welcoming and happy to answer any questions. We stayed in the family room, which slept 10 and was newly renovated, with a fridge and hotplates which was great. . Beds were very comfortable and the room was virtually soundproof, which was amazing as we were in the middle of a busy camp. Amenities were clean and the camp is just a minutes walk from town and beach. Great place to stay. Thank you Ruby and Joe. Would definitely stay here again.

As we have trouble with steps they.were only too willing to offer us the family room ( which can sleep 10+ ) to us at a great rate.
The buildings rooms and amenities are very clean well maintained

We would have no Qualms in recommending it to.travellers who would get great value for money from friendly hosts.
