This is the assembly point for water float kayaking experience of Taupo Kayaking adventure. When i was told it is the assembly point , this location “Gates Park” couldn’t be located on google map. Therefore , I took some pics and report to google. Finally it is approved !!! I hope i helps other kayaking participant locate this point more easily

Great spot to walk the dog or ride a bike. There are tracks everywhere, and great viewing points to see the river. This is the best place to start the river float. Thankfully there is plenty of parking here, because the river float is really popular in the summer time

Fabulous walking track and amazing view on the river.

Great spot to walk the dog down to the river. They are gradually doing the park up. Some bench seating would be awesome and Rubbish recepticles please!!!
