Huge park, lots of grass and very nice views. The annual summer concert here goes down a treat too.

I Absolutely Love Riverside Park. Basically Lived in Carpark for 6mths last Year & afew months this Year 😍👌😉💖🌹💗👍 Beautiful an Peaceful x My favs are the 3 Magpies that are Friendly Love Bugs ❤️🌹❤️ I visit Everytime I'm in Taupo 😉👌

Just stopped in to mt black and Grey and top up with fresh water. They've also got toilets there

We went for the summer concert and it was great. Excellent venue, close to the river and close to town too. Plenty of parking nearby, well set up for a large crowd. We were lucky enough to find a place to sit that was in the shade of a large tree and had a view of the stage. Right in front of the stage was sunny and it would have been very hot.

A great little spot to come and meditate and just relax. There are many toilets here and close to the water so it's a beautiful area.

OK. Doesn't get the evening sun.

Beautiful place to stop and have a walk. A public toilet is available. Free parking and a dump station too. A really nice place.

Like this park very spacious.. Has local toilets really secluded.. Good to meet up with people.. Guys and girls.... Nice carpark area.

Wonderful trip on the lake from here on the 'fearless' highly recommend

Scenic Park at the start of the mighty Waikato River as it leaves Lake Taupo. This area doesn't have the natural hot springs a short way down the river though it has a nice tree stump hat locals appear to jump or dive off into the fairly deep river. Toilets nearby to change in

Great place in summer and during concerts, but pretty lifeless and cold through winter. Could do with some more stuff to activate the space and make it safer. Great location, just underutilised.

Event are held here, but most of the time a lovely little park.

Beautiful Park and host to great events, from here you can also start your walk on the river which is just insanely beautiful

This place was a Camping Ground. Now it's an Amphitheatre & holds a regular yearly concert of Classic Hits bands/musicians. However, the stage is in a crappy position. There is not enough shade on these all day events.... but good food & drinks.

Beautiful lake front park. Home to summer concert series...Used to be an iconic campground until about 30 years ago

Great place to dump and get water for campervan and also just park for smoko or lunch. One of our favourite spots
