M. B.As we made our way up the North Island, we HAD to make a stop at Lakefun Taupo.
We have rented the self drive boat, pontoon and jets kits before.
This time we decided to rent 3 jet skis for an hour for a family of 6.
We had so much fun! It was easy to swap over drivers while on the lake.
The staff in the office were super friendly and helpful as always.
And our lovely briefing staff member did an excellent job giving us instructions and making us feel comfortable. Very friendly and knowledgeable.
We loved it and will be back again!

E. F.Stumbled upon their booth and booked a 2-hour trip to sail on the lake and see the carvings. The boat turned out to be a luxurious catamaran piloted by Aaron and Nick - both very knowledgeable and friendly. Wine and pizza was a nice touch, the scenery was beyond beautiful, we had so much fun. Thank you so much, will recommend for sure!

R. O.Such a great way to explore Lake Taupo! We hired a boat for 3 hours and it was just magical. Every staff member we dealt with was professional, helpful and friendly - and we really appreciated the flexibility they provided re changing our booking to avoid the heavy rain! Thank you, LakeFUN, we will be back!
P. F.Went on a 3 hour charter on Why Worry with my wife and 2 children (9yo and 7yo), and Jay captaining.
Went to view the Maori carving in slightly windy conditions with a bit of chop. Boat handled well and Jay made sure we were comfortable with conditions.
Went and did some trawling fishing, and caught a good sized trout first time. Caught a further 4 fish. Jay explained well to the kids how to fish and answered all their many questions.
Went to a bay after for a swim and jumping off a wharf.
Jay bagged our fish and recommended the Vine to have it cooked at, which was great.
Overall had an exceptional time on the lake for a memorable fishing / boating experience with the family.
Highly recommend.

I. K.Hired a pontoon boat with a group! Went to the Maori carvings which is around 40mins one way at max speed. Excellent experience, great helpful staff. Highly recommended!
