The remote key for my car stopped working. Amit from Bay Shoe Repairs was able to figure out the problem and replace the key for me. I’d been quoted by several other business for a key replacement, all of which were at least twice the cost of Bay Shoe Repairs. The replacement I received has been working flawlessly. If you live in Tauranga and are contemplating whether or not the drive to Te Puke is worth it for their business, it definitely is!

Yesterday I went to the locksmith in Te Puke as my car key had broken and she was so rude, wouldn’t help me at all. So I called my dad and he knew about “Bay Shoe Repairs” so I popped around the corner to see the guy that works in there and he was the kindest person to help me out with my car key. His service was amazing!!!

Amit is just the kindest, most amazing human being ever. He has put himself out and travelled to my home to help me with a problem on more than one occasion. I respect him and recommend his work most highly.

After dropping off some dry cleaning I walked slowly passed the shoe repair shop , What caught my eye was the newness and simplicity of the shop , I had in my mind to ask whether they do trefolex labels for some Art pieces , The chap was on the phone so I made myself at home in a comfortable bar stool that had been provided , While sitting there for less than 2 minutes I saw he also did car keys that enabled an electronic chip , I had lost mine 4 years ago and after inquiring at Mr Nissan I got put off by a blank is $250 and it is $175 to get the key cut , I asked does he have a blank he politely said yes and I can cut it for you for $99 , I said great go ahead as he was cutting the key I saw an assortment of whiskey flasks and purchased one of them , He then gave me the option of putting my name on it with a telephone number which I appreciated the suggestion, So while he was engraving that on the flask without moving from my barstool I noticed a can of waterproofing which I also purchased , My experience was being well looked after and a great assortment of nick nacks that are attractive to the eye without being overly displayed and the graciousness of Amit made it a pleasurable shopping experience which in my view is lacking in most stores today , I would definitely recommend his shop to others and being a small business it gives me great satisfaction to give my money to a small business than the New Worlds we live in , Thank you Paul Haimona .

Excellent service - very quick and helpful. Went the extra mile in regard to my shoes and helping my elderly mother with her car lock. Highly recommend!
