G.Definitely could do with some modernisation, especially the bathrooms, new coat of paint would change the whole vibe of this chipmunks and brighten it up a bit. The padding in the 0-3 area/whole 0-3 area could do with a bit of an upgrade too.
Friendliest staff I've ever encountered at a chipmunks though so that was great! Nice and clean as well.
C.The facility was great. Lots to do with our littlie. Coffee and cabinet eats were tasty. Specially the gluten free options. Had a wonderful morning. Clean seating area and toilets. The place was very busy. Would visit again definitely.
P.Great time for the kids at the birthday party. Enjoyed by all and the food was yummy that we had as part of the party pack. Thank you to the staff, they were great!!!

R.Can't fault the facility, But the young girl needs a lesson on etiquette. Rush, rush rush my family throughout our granddaughters birthday party booking.
C.So loud the air guns in there are horribly noisy. Had the loaded wedges had ham not bacon on them and it was all in the middle none on the side wedges.
D.Great price. Plenty of adult comfort food to choose from, so you can endure your child(ren) becoming fast and furious with fun.
I can definitely envisage birthday party a here. Perfect place to burn off the sugar induced highs of birthday cake. Just wish the had padded rooms for the sugar lows: but wait, they do, a humongous bouncy castle 😜
Y.Absolutely love it, went there last week and love it. Plenty of things/options to enjoy as well as the hot food, beautiful and fresh coffee definitely highlight of your day. Such a huge playground and Love the facilities and definitely will go there again and again.
r.Good place for kids. But some areas are a bit dark especially inside the slide area.
T.4 stars for the preschoolers who enjoyed nonstop fun . We had about 20children for a 5th birthday party in a private room with party food, goody bags, a birthday cake and an appearance by a chipmunk. After kai, the children played nonstop in the playground for a couple hours.
It's a very noisy environment but its the happy noise of children having lots of fun. (I escaped to a nearby café for a break)

K.Always good, crowded today, some other parents had to wait for a table/seats, but great for kids to be wearing themselves out. Hot chips delicious and fairy bread always a hit. Kids left happy and exhausted.
N.Clean and safe which is very important, the only thing is that I would have liked a coffee but I felt to awkward to take the one member of staff I saw off the till at the front to make it for me
S.The kids had a great time running around for 2 full hours. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Some things were out of order and over all the place felt a little tired, but the kids didn't mind and found enough to keep them happy :)
Y.The staff are friendly and the service is excellent. The playland is big, clean and tidy. It is not as bad as the comment said, the price is reasonable.Lots of things prices are increasing and the minimum wage has been increased every year. Businesses need to increase prices to survive.
J.My kids had an absolute blast here. Would go again. How ever it is looking a bit old and tired and it was very understaffed, with one lady trying to cover admission and the cafe. Waited a good half hour for a coffee. Would be had to gauge how busy you'd be each day of guess.
i.This place is awesome for children to use up energy
D.Needs a little care, and balls for the ball pit. Some healthy food options would be helpful. Rides that need coins after paying to get in is a little unkind

S.Grandson had a fab time. Would like some healthier food options. Cake and lollies don't.really cut it for snack food. Of.course he chosen a.donut with bright blue icing. It was very stale and unappetizing.
d.Kids love it , but they get a bit frustrated when they realise they have to pay for the xtra little rides etc ? It's too expensive after you have paid for the kids to go in there it should be all inclusive.
N.Good play for the kids! My son loves it every time we go. I think they could do a bit better with the café, but still a good place to go to :)

J.I read the reviews as I was in Tauranga for a few hours with the kids, wow, I nearly didn't come, but generally chipmunks have always been good for the kids, so ignored the warnings.
WOW again, this is one of the best chipmunks I've taken the kids too and I've been to them up and down the north island.
Tauranga chipmunks is the biggest site I've been to with a massive play area. The kids loved it.
If you complain about the price of food you need to get real, food everywhere these days is expensive to a point, every business needs to charge a price to make it work, every chipmunks has a cage that is even consider to be in the high side of pricing, but I have been in many a cafe that would make chipmunks look 5 star.
Price of entry is fair also, if you stay for half an hour or the whole day, one price for endless time for that day.
To those rating a business ...... If you have a complaint why don't you first talk to staff, or the owner who is also on site working this business, don't moan on social media it can severely damage a business and in most cases for no reason

D.Fun for the kids and has food n coffee for big people! Lots of slides n plastic balls to keep them amused for hours. They will sleep we'll after a visit here :)
C.Such a fun place for kids parents to spend time together for winter time. Nice staff and great food. Will go for the birthday party for my little three years old.
H.the roof has sound proofing so not as loud as other chipmunks we have been to. a large open door so a nice breeze flowing through.
D.If you love the sounds of kids having fun and love to celebrate special occasions with catered parties in private rooms and let your kids loose on the fantastic play area then this place is perfect for your needs.
s.Good for the young kids but is looking a little tired. Could do with a freshen up and a new playground structure. But the kids still love it.
