This is a lovely place to visit and enjoy the variety of animals there. Deer, sheep, alpacas, guinea pigs, peacocks, pheasants, Clydesdale horses, a couple of Texas longhorns, and even more. However, the one year old was most enamored by a maintenance vehicle!

We had a great time today at the park. Our daughter loved feeding the baby lambs, holding the guinea pigs, exploring the playground area and feeding all the other animals. We're grateful for how friendly the animals were and we enjoyed connecting with them, especially the horses, deer, and donkeys. We highly recommend visiting. Thank you for the special and memorable time for our family.

Finally borders were open and we could travel a bit further. Tauranga was chosen and this animal park seems quite interesting to visit. We just learned about few days ago and we thought it would be nice for our children to get in contact with some nature and animals. It seems like a little zoo in the middle of a splendid park. Quite a variety of animals, well maintained. Little pigs wondered around, little kids loved them. There are some picnic areas inside, it is so good to see many families enjoying some freedom after a period in lockdown.

I took my Granddaughter & 2 of her friends for the day. We packed a lovely picnic lunch. All the carers were really lovely. You could tell straight away that the birds & Animals were loved & well cared for. We'll certainly come back again.

My son absolutely loved it here (2 1/2). Lovely little critters to pet (guinea pigs) and some interesting bigger animals to feed (deer, pigs, cows, sheep etc). Cool play are for older kids including 2 big flying foxes. I am sure we will be back. Only giving it 4 stars rather than 5 as there wasn't really much playground equipment for younger children/ toddlers.

It's a nice family farm at reasonable cost. Kids from infant to toddlers will love the animals there. Just try to bring some sort of shade or umbrella during summer season as it can get really hot. Awesome place to visit with family under budget.

Awesome place can't believe it's in our back yard even has my fav turtles. Take a you a while to get around the park its massive so much to be seen and the animals you get to feed up close and personal.i dont think I've been any where else

Even better than when I was a kid! Perfect for the kids and a picnic with the family, just great fun for all ages. The staff are friendly, polite, happy and keen to chat. The animals, which there is a wide variety are amazingly friendly and relaxed.

Absolutely brilliant park. Great way for 2 or 3 hours of fun for kids. About $17 per adult. Affordable highly interactive experience with all sorts of animals. Buy 2 x bags of animal feed for more close up interaction. Well done staff, well looked after animals and grounds!!

My grand-daughter and I had a wonderful day at the farm with the animals. She got to feed the animals, cuddle with the guinea pigs and had a ride on the pony. Apologies, I didn't have a chance to right you a proper review. We all had a great time at your farm. We were impressed with the infrastructure you've got in place and of how much there's to see and experience. It was also very nice to see your beautiful family looking after the farm as we walked around all areas. It gave us a feel of how much care and effort goes on looking after such a variety of animals. Thank you for the experience and we hope to visit again when we get another chance. Cheers! =)

Don't bother calling, the number doesn't work. If it's raining really heavily, don't bother going. BUT if it's a nice day, definitely check it out! Animals are really tame and most eat straight out of your hands.

We had a blast. The animals all looked really happy and healthy, I liked that many of the animals were free to roam. It was a smallish walk, however in the heat can be tiresome. The only thing I would suggest is adding more seating around the walk for people to stop at 🤗

Kids loved it! Got a bag of animal food each and hand fed the ducks, chickens, goats, Clydesdales, Fallow Deer and Red deer, emu, kunekune pigs, rabbits and guinea pigs. Also enjoyed the flying fox's. Highly recommend.

This is a very cool little zoo.stocks a wide range of animals. Gives people the opportunity to get up close to animals and feed them. Love bring able to bottle feed lambs in the springtime. We take our grandchildren here whenever they come to stay. They love getting out in the country where they can run around. Good range of animals and the park is kept clean. $13 per adult and $7 for kids is way too expensive for what it is a simple farm animal type petting activity. 1/2 these prices would be fine.

Fantastic place for kids and adults alike. Went there for a first birthday and had so much fun! There is so much to see and do. I live that you can feed most of the animals and it's so cool when they eat it out of your hand. And even more fun to see the kids reactions when the animals eat out of their hands . A great variety of animals and includes a petting area for guinea pigs so even young kids can be interactive. If you're not up to a big walk around the park, there is still heaps to do and see in the main area with the picnic tables. Definitely good value for money, I can't recommend this place highly enough. I would give it 10 stars!

I had low expectations after seeing some reviews but I was impressed with what I saw. They have a large range of animals (emu, ostrich, deer, goats, sheep, pigs, ducks, Guinea pigs and more) all the animals you can pat and most you can feed. Took about 3 hours to walk around with a little lunch break which was perfect for young kids.

The children loved this place so much. They had great fun playing with their favourite animals and pets. Very good varieties of animals. You can buy some food (corn) to feed the animals there. Entry price is not bad either too. There is a family pass for 36$ which is awesome. We all loved the place. Thank you for giving us such a chance for all the fun.

The farm had quite a few animals that you could interact with. Our toddler loved feeding and patting the animals. We appreciated the shades and benches every 20 meters or so. Didn't see any eel today. The tickets were on the pricy side, we used a entertainment book voucher which made it a bit better. There are lots of nasty sand/black flies so do apply insect repellent before going in.

Had a lovely afternoon here on a sunny but chilly weekend day. My fiancee and her family had been here before when younger and despite being 20 years older it still proved to be a fun day out. Animals were friendly and we were able to get a wheelchair around with a bit of team effort (the gravel paths are not ideal terrain but we were offered the option of bringing our own car on site). The only negative we thought was that some animals were in small enclosures, but whether they are in them for the entire day or not I am not too sure. All in all though a charming, relaxed and surprisingly enjoyable afternoon activity, great for kids.

As a veterinarian, I can honestly say, the animals under the care of Marshall's Animal Park are extremely well looked after. The different animals that guests and children can feed are so gentle with mouthing the grain from your hands. My family and I had a wonderful time

Fun place for the children , moderate up hill walk on the track , a bit steeper on the return to the kiosk. Take appropriate footwear. I enjoyed taking my 3 year-old grandson to see the animals 👍👍

Great animal park. Perfect interactive animals. Safe clean and tidy. The bigger kids (tweens) were entertained by the eels, stags and horses. The little kids loved the pony's, piglets and guinea pigs. Cost for a family of 4 was reasonable.

Simply the best! (I love Gabrielle the huge horse) :) This place is awesome and once you get to the top of the hill the view is stunning. perfect place for kids as there are many attractions. They have a few swings and 2 flying foxes. The animals are super interactive and love to be fed. They have many animals ranging from guinea pigs to bulls. I will list all of the animals I know are there: Reindeer, chicken, rooster, guinea pig, rabbits, pigs, horse, bull, ostrich, emu, cow, llama, possum, sheep, ducks, tortoise, goat, all kinds of chickens, and pheasants. Truly a wonderful place and the staff are great. Can't wait to go again this summer.

Nice... Mostly caged animals, with ducks, a large mama sheep and some lambs running around... There is an option to drive up to the top part, which has big animals and peacocks.. Seen it now, my 4yr liked it but a $17 each adult seems alot. Corn for animals $2 a bag etc etc..

Over priced for what it is and the food is basically just pop corn and for your $2 worth you get about a $1 worth. Adults are $14 and children $8 so costs $40 for myself and two under 5yr olds. I think they should drop the kids to $4 and adults to $10. Just a suggestion or provide more play areas petting for under 5s, beautifully set out in the kaimais and variety of animals is good but nothing spectacular maybe provide more info for tourists and children on the animals and some interactive games.

We had trouble finding this place, as the signage was overgrown with moss. Lovely place for kids. Pony rides available on demand for small cost. Carpark conveniently at entrance. Has a small shop which sells limited food such as Ice cream and cold drinks, which worked a treat on a hot day. Shaded seated area for lunch. Only feedback, the rusty flying fox and swings need an upgrade.

If you ever want to get the kids out of the house and out of the city, take them to Marshall's animal park. We spent our Saturday here and it's such a cool place where kids can get up close, feed and pat all the animals. Highly recommend.

A wide range of well cared for, beautiful animals. Facilities aren't very modern but are in good condition none the less. Walking of the concrete path is necessary and you may end up getting your shoes a bit dirty, but just adds to the feeling of the place. Clearer signs of what you can and cant feed would be appreciated as well as signs noting the absence of animals, as it is rather disheartening to spend time looking for a specific animal only to find it Is absent

Great little park to visit with your whanau or significant other. Goats will eat your bag of food if given the chance, and as recently discovered, so will emus. Lots of good stories from this place, always something interesting going on, and it's also rather cheap! Go see some rad animals and have a mint time. Well worth the drive
