Great place. Highly recommended if you want to watch your movie choice in comfort and not have your knees in your face.

Received a movie voucher for Rialto and was pleasantly surprised by the little cinema. Great prices and service. We will be back again.

No social distancing like other cinemas have been doing, popcorn in bags which is very noisy when trying to watch a movie!!

Continues to be a favourite place for us to go and watch movies that deserve a big screen.

Lovely theater to sit down with a wine and enjoy a movie - new, old, or on the obscure side. The owners will even pop-in themselves when they run the classics. Alien in particular was a treat!

Really nice seating and cinema atmosphere. It feels very close if you aren't in the back few rows however.

Comfy seating, well staffed, clean facilities, and no problems with the film watching experience. It is nice to be able to buy an alcoholic beverage here. Only downsides are a poor selection of popcorn and the cinema screens are not very large.

Love this theatre,if you go at lunchtime,you pay $20 for movie@rialto & lunch at collar & Thai next to movies👍

Always great to be at Rialto. Much prefer to going to Rialto than the other theatre centres in greater Tauranga. Staff are great. Super selection of movies for everyone.

Good movie nice quiet place, really expensive wine but you can get large glass full. Ice cream dipped in chocolate was soo frozen could not take a bite till end of movie, near broke my teeth

Always enjoy the movies here, staff are always polite and helpful. The theatres are always clean and seats comfortable.

Clean and comfy. Love the quieter atmosphere and lack of crowds you get at event cinemas, but the movie selection can be limited sometimes. If you're with vodafone, you can get $11 tickets, definitely makes going to the movies more affordable.

Big fairly comfortable seats, in an uncrowded cinema. This place doesn't have the bells and whistles of a newer cinema but it gets the job done without you feeling like you were stuffed into a sardine can for two hours. Packaged popcorn is on offer here rather than conventional fresh cinema popcorn but they make up for it with their wine and ice cream selection.

Came here to watch a NZ Film Festival movie, the place was clean and had all the amenities you would expect. The lobby is a little small being we clashed with a couple of other movies that started at the same time but that was expected. A great movie and experience.

Great picture theatre showing a good range of movies. Staff great and you can have a drink with the movie in comfort. Mainly for the older generation but maybe cos we go during the day...

We love going to Rialto, the staff are friendly and helpful. We have a senior members ticket with good discounts and the choc dipped ice creams is the icing on the cake! There's something about an outing to Rialto that's good for the soul.

Small cinema but less people Movie listings are always good. Not commercial movies. More like independent movies.

Watched Dunkirk here. Great sound, atmosphere and very comfortable seating. Able to purchase a wine or a beer to take into the movie with you.

Love going to movies at Rialto. Lovely comfy seats. Small theatres. Lovely friendly staff. Only one thing needs addressing.....women's bathroom would benefit from an upgrade.

Saw The Hustle. It was a fund raising screening for the Otumoetai Underwater Hockey team. Great venue. A bit more sophisticated then your usual movie theatre.

Nice city centre cinema with an art cinema leaning. Just a pity do not have the traditional popcorn & Coke. Parking is also a problem

Saw a great film on the Spitfire. Only problem was someone decided 1. To not close the door at the start 2. Someone decided to turn the lights on at least 5 minutes before the end. 3. The lady behind the counter became very aggressive when we complained. Blamed it on a trainee. Shame as we usually really enjoy the Rialto.

Just was part of large group of Architects and Designers and associated partners to see film on Jorn Utzon and his toil to have Sydney's Opera House built. Poignant. Rialto superb location to see this.

Good atmosphere, bijou theatres and always a great selection of movies. I like that you can buy wine at the ticket counter and take it into the theatre with you.

The ongoing presence of the Rialto in an otherwise dead city centre is a glimmer of hope that there is life and hope for more one day!

Rialto was an great fundraiser for our junior rugby. We were able to byo our own food and host our supporters for this awesome event and experience a great movie all together as one whanau...

So we came to the rialto for a charity events night it was so much fun and so amazing what let it down was the very grumpy micromanaging overbearing front of house lady who put a damper on everything. I would recommend that she finds another job

This is a great place to see alternative works and scheduled showings are great for anytime you want to see something. The small theatre creates an intimate experience.

The Rialto has a range of movies that are not the standard fare that you find at the mainstream cinemas, otherwise it's no better or worse.
