Always love our local park. A safe and shallow place for kids to swim and easy access for sailing or stand up paddle boarding. Good facilities including a playground for kids of all ages and free barbeques for summer picnics.

Awsome park would be great if the council could please keep up with bbq maintenance and add a shower to the outside of the toilet block. Great for taking the kids swimming if it's high tide and it's nice and shallow for the younger ones.

Great park with loads of wide open space. Definitely very popular with dog owners and families. Access to playground, bbqs, water and lovely views! I definitely love coming here regularly. Highly recommend.

Good for use of toilets, walking the dog and or playing at the park. Nice view, boat ramp and fair amount of parking. Bit of sand and water too.

A hidden gem in Welcome Bay. Although the harbour is very shallow and you'd struggle to get wet above your knees for much of the day, it has lots of grass, a toilet block, a great playground as well as some barbeque facilities. Recently the council has put in 4 sets of steps going down from the grass behind the retaining wall onto the sand. The grassy area is large and plenty of space for a good kick-around of a soccer ball. Plenty of trees for shade are to be had as well. The park also has a limited allowance for freedom camping vehicles. I think the gates are locked at night.

The Council BBQ worked perfect and was clean, the tide was in, the kids loved the shallow water, there was a gentle breeze, a really great family picnic place.

Awesome little park, great for family and kids love the playground there a couple of nearby swimming spots aswell as 2 barbecue's that you can cook on good for a relaxing day out.

I love this place. It has everything that you could ever need to enjoy a nice grass roots level family picnic/day out. Theres public toilets, playground, water access, heaps of space for your four legged friends too.

Stayed here in a camper for 1 night ....really nice little reserve with a boat ramp and small play area and just a nice area/neighborhood in generalit seemed .. very popular with dog walkers and with the gates locked from 9pm felt safe there over night...big credit to the local council
