S.Huge seats, ample room and leg room. Big screen and good volume without being deafening. The manager allowed us a private viewing for 2 persons, owing to differing times being published. An enjoyable experience
R.The cinema is really nice and screening on every hour between from 9am to 7pm the wonderful New Zealand Fiordland movie Ata Whenua - Shadowland. It shows the stunning natural diversity of the Fiordland.
J.What a great place! The intro was great. Loved hearing about the guys who made it (even though locals had told me about it). Very comfortable cinema and informative and enjoyable film. Would definitely recommend.
M.Went to see the shadowlands movie which was fantastic - can't recommend it highly enough. Was great to experience Fiordland from a different perspective. Enjoyed both the visual and narrative aspects of the production. Staff were exceptionally helpful and the toilets were immaculate.
S.This is a very well equipped little cinema. Very comfortable large seating. You get a little side table for your drinks, it's licensed do you can take a beer or glass of wine in. They also serve coffees
M.We love the comfortable cinema seats and it's spaciousness. The 30 minutes fiordland film shot from helicopter view is really worth the price. Intriguing, inspiring and well-shot, do not miss this when in Te Anau!

R.Nice little cinema with lovely staff. Be sure to book in early during busy times as there is generally only one or two sessions per day of the mainstream films. Great coffee and wine available too via the adjoining bar/cafe

C.Nice little cinema. Movie selection is somewhat limited. They show a short film about the Fiordlands which has awesome landscape and scenery. Admission is $10 which is well worth it. For other movies, you need to check the schedule posted at the cinema as there is usually only one showing of any other movie per day. Seats are huge!
M.Watched the Atu Whenu film about the beautiful Fiordlands. The excellent bar also means you can take drinks in as well. Lovely roaring fire in the bar earned us up on a cold day and happy hour was also excellent value for money. We visited a few times and was always busy with a pleasant atmosphere
J.This place is really cool. A very cosy and fashionable bar with good selection at decent prices, its a beauty to take a seat in here. While speaking of taking a seat, the cinema is comfortable and especially nice when you can bring your drink in there. The fiordlands movie is quite an awe inspiring piece which really captures the grand beauty of the wildest parts of the fiordlands.
P.Nice and cozy cinema. If you are unlucky with weather this is your destination. Would recommend to watch "Fiordland on film", short but visually impressive document about New Zealand's biggest national park. There are usually multiple screenings during day, easy to pick one that suits you best.
A.Comfy chairs, great coffee. Nice to take a short sit down and watch the 'Ata Whenua' explore the vastness of Fiordland while sitting in luxury and resting you feet.

U.4Nov16 and 6Nov16 Called in to the cafe here twice - to and from Hollyford Track - for snacks and refreshment. First class food and nibbles. Great attention to detail and quality in presentation of food platters ; large variety of food. Good range of alohols and sodas/non alcoholic drinks. Well lit with big glass windows. Photos and art on display.
J.Really nice cinema, great staff and service. So old school with the intermission, but we really liked it. Will be going again on our next visit. Would recommend this for anyone going since it is so good.

F.The fiord film is a few years old now, the footage is alright. Think that they are capitalising on the idea you might want shelter from the rain and a comfortable seat. Choice of beers was good at the bar.
B.Went to see Ata Whenua and enjoyed a lovely Fiordland Pinot noir at the bar before hand. Highly recommend this as something to do in Te Anau as brilliant cinematography and staff were lovely.

S.The fiordland film runs during the day up to around 6pm. Good documentary of the fiordland, runs for about 1/2 an hour, costs $12. Not bad but if your short of cash, give it a miss, a bit expensive for what it presents.
J.Comfortable, compact cinema in the heart of town. It was built to show the Shadowlands film of Fiordland scenery, but shows feature film in the evening. S10 is the best seat in the house.
