B.Great cinema, they have a great range of theatre sizes the largest has one of the biggest screens in the area. This cinema doesn't attract large crowds so it's usually easy to get good seating. They have a few small rooms for more specialised showings and a great little snack shop with all the usual movie treats in Stock.
T.This is a great cinema. It's comfortable and all the theatres are clean. I love the work that's gone into keeping it looking nice while retaining its classic styling. I always take my family here when in the area.

K.Saw LA LA Land here and it was a top notch experience. The cinema itself is beautiful - modern refurb but retains the charm of its history, especially in the foyer and staircases. Staff were awesome. A pleasure to visit!
l.Local gem. Worth supporting. Good theatre preservation. Like t encourage more nz films t support local industry post covid. Also..could b used for local informative gatherings.
J.Capitol theatre has most of the latest movies and with 4 different sized theatres there is plenty of comfortable seating. Seniors card discount applies every day.

C.What a lovely theater! The art deco building is remincent of yester year! The Owners and staff are lovely and patient with the little ones. We are from Papamoa, so the Capitol is our theater of choice. The Family Venecourt/Jackson.

P.Nice place to spend your evening. Seems 1 staff member runs the whole business (tickets, candy, starting the movie). And they can handle the 3D movies.
X.Movies available are pretty up-to-date, place is neat and clean as well. FYI, their movies doesn’t have subtitles.
C.We brought food along , but told to surrender it before going in. Might be nice to say it on the Web site before we turned up . Gone hungry.
