Under New management!Highly recommend for an affordable stay. Friendly polite and welcoming staff who have spent alot of time and hard work cleaning and sanitising the facilities to a much higher standard. Lots of Happy friendly campers heaps of facilities and amenities great atmosphere and surroundings to enjoy.
Given a few more weeks these managers will have the place up to 5 star.

Bernadine is my girl hopefully she'll give me a discount next time I stay but love love people are very friendly 🥰

Great place to stay if working at EastPak. Managers a really friendly, and have clearly worked very hard to keep this site free of undesirables. Brand new showers and toilets with lots of high pressure hot water. Nice grass pitches and a very reasonable price for a weekly rate.

Donna and Grizz have done a beautiful job of updating this place to a genuine Holiday Park. It's clean it's safe and has a lovely inground pool. They care about the people there and the facilities. Recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay with choices of caravans pods and tent sites. I'll definitely be back!

The few days we spent there were very nice. Clean ablution blocks and friendly hosts who went out of their way to make us comfortable. Will definately visit again.

Stayed at this place and yes it's not 5 STAR. But
Like most places maintenance is always on going
even if it progresses slowly. Up grading such facilities is not cheap. Good on the owners to turn the old trend and move forward with improvements. I found them down to earth kiwis.
Given the nature of previous Tenants and management it's no wonder the place went to rack / ruin!! Some 1 had to step in and fix it everywhere. Please perciver people...if you can...I've stayed at various holiday parks around nz even poorer than this place. We need good facilities to get better for everyone. Thanks for the stay..👍

really looks like the 8mile caravan park which is actually cool to see. nice ladies took us in for 10$ each when it was late night and we checked every other place in the tauranga area. has showers, kitchen shelter, gas cookers, sinks and some grass areas to park. might be a bit loud in the morning as it is next to a junkyard and a crane was relocation car parts. looked like there are more permanent residents like workers and working backpackers. thanks so much :)

Te Puke Holiday park is looking great since the new owners have been renovating, the facilities are clean and tidy and the staff are wonderful and lovely to deal with. Highly recommend to all.

English owners are funny with sense of humours. Everything is kept clean and party atmosphere at the weekends is only to be expected and was cool.. people bitching is funny to me as I found the opposite hence the 5* nice cheap place to stay

I'm in Te Puke for work. This holiday park (a better name is trailerpark) is probably the cheapest place you can stay in the whole Bay of Plenty. So don't expect too much!
Positive things:
~cheap ($50 per week per person)
~not temporally limited hot showers
~toilets
~kitchen
~sitting room with TV
~close to many orchards (I drove between 2 and 35 min)
Negative things:
~the owners are a bit crazy
~for credit card there is a fee of 3%
~showers are dirty and old (not enough pressure and hot water at rush hour), all are taken if it is busy
~toilets are often yukky (but there are enough available)
~kitchen has many gas hobs, but only a few work well, microwave is very old, also the ovens, at rush hour is not enough space for everyone
~water quality is medium (like almost everywhere on New Zealand)
~water taps outside splash in very direction, but not in the bottle you want to fill, so it takes a while
~many poor people live here permanent (I think it is for them also a very cheap opportunity) the result is a very high crime rate, so be aware and don't leave your things somewhere (one day the water heater was just stolen #tellmewhy)
All in all I think it is a good place to stay for some weeks very cheap. The meadow we parked our car is a few meters away from all the trailers so as backpackers you are separated from them and you can be around other backpackers all the time if you want. I have a very good time here!
If you work you won't spend much time here so I think it is very okay for that price and I will recommend it to you! But before you arrive you have to decide very careful, if you really want this or take some more bucks for a better one (some are in Papamoa, Maketu or Pukehina for $70 or $80 per week per person...look at CamperMate or WikiCamps).

Great New couple making the right changes to the camp ground. Could see weekly even daily progress to previously neglected site. Would highly recommend it especially for long term accommodation.
d.
The new owners have made alot of changes.they have revamped the kitchen .womens toilt n showers .trimmed back the overgrown trees.installed camera security around the park.its a whole lot better now.and they are still making improvements.
I.
The new owners have made a huge positive change this last year.. all new kitchen X2... New toilet/ shower blocks X2, new accommodations.. over 30.. and it continues to improve

I found my love there, i love this place,
Cleaning is ok but honestly it depend on us how we clean.
Cheap, no time limit on showers, unlimited every thing, best for tourist or students.

(Translated) The prices are quite high, I shared a van with a friend and we paid $ 100 each week. The toilets and showers for women were not in good condition, so we had to go to those of men (rather clean, however). But there was a new building with showers and toilets really, really top, but if we wanted to have access, we had to pay more ... Rather average. The manager, Donna, will make you spend rather strange and hilarious moments at the same time (do not leave things lying around in the kitchen because she checks everything on her video surveillance), she is not really understanding either. But as it is the only Holiday park in Te Puke, the campsite is always teeming with people.
(Original)

(Translated) It is not too bad. We rented a campervan for a few weeks, a little musty smell but it did the job. The bathrooms are almost always clean, the shower has unlimited hot water. The attention is quite good.
(Original)
No está tan mal. Alquilamos una campervan por algunas semanas, un poco de olor a humedad pero cumplia su función. Los baños casi siempre están limpios, la ducha tiene agua caliente ilimitada. La atención es bastante buena.

(Translated) Have been here for a month now and are satisfied. Does not offer luxury, but has everything you need and $ 50 pp per week is simply unbeatable. However, everything is not always clean here and the communal kitchen is often overcrowded.
(Original)

(Translated) It is a good place to stop if you have intentions to work in te puke. It is the cheapest of all! Hot showers at all times, kitchens with plenty of space, clothes washer and dryer. Wifi was missing and it was complete.

Es un buen lugar para parar si tenes intenciones de trabajar en te puke. Es el mas barato de todos! Duchas calientes a toda hora, cocinas con mucho espacio, lavador y secador de ropa. Faltó wifi y estaba completo.
