H. S.Great place to clean away travelling dust. The spa is generous in size and has no children allowed. Changing rooms have warm showers for hair washing though showers need a few more clothes hooks.

J. G.Burnt popcorn, and it is all smashed up into teeny tiny pieces - it ALWAYS is, somehow they manage to overcook it until it shatters into hundreds of bits.
The seats in the cinema itself are hard, low to the ground (difficult for people with mobility challenges), tacky (dirty/sticky), and incorrectly tiered so there is always a head in front of your view.
Horrendously overpriced when you think Readings Cinemas are top of the line and charge $10 for an adult - Movie Max are really taking advantage of their being the only cinema in town.

G. N.Small 6 screen cinema complex in Timaru. Ok as such places go but the seats are getting a bit worn out so bear that in mind when planning where to see that next 3 hour long film.
They do bombard you with 30 minutes of ads and film trailers at the beginning of every film session. So you can arrive a few minutes late and not miss the main feature. Your bum might thank you if you do so.
The toilets are a must visit too - they're a real 80s throwback with their colour schemes.
P. S.Great but in winter they need to do something about some warmth as it was pretty cokd sitting in a late session
C. D.Staff are friendly. It is more expensive than other cinemas i have been to but it not to badly priced would be if you were talking the whole family. The theaters are clean but the seats are a little uncomfrotable after a while.

H. S. -. W.Movie was fantastic. Volume was way too high for children who were watching movie. Parent was letting young child run around aisles in between people watching movie. Happened more then once & parent finally did something after child started screaming!!!

J. T.To be honest I love going here, but I feel as though if the prices for tickets were dropped numbers of throughput would increase. I have to admit I always smash a movie out every time I go to chch. Tickets are $10 to 11 dollars there and it makes me go back every time even if there's nothing I'm super interested in. This is probably a bit of food for thought for @moviemaxdigital. 😁
h.Hi it was good but didn't like how you get located seats. Feel you should be able to seat where ever you choose. Sort of puts me off going there again.
