In the past this was a lovely place to go and enjoy scenic river views. Nowadays the river is quite murky and pollution has made it a lot less scenic. Very sad to see but still a nice place to go during periods of lovely weather.

Good open space for all to enjoy. Great picnic / bbq spaces. Playground for children. Boat ramp etc. Meant to be on leash for dogs but no one seems to mind as long as your dog is under control etc.

It is a great open space on the river bed of waikato river it has boat ramp also picnic tables, public loo facinities that also caters for the disable and a nice play ground for children and nice open reserve settings to exercise dogs
