Reviews of Moonshine Park
G.Another world class dog walking park. Lots of room and safe car parking during day. The park gates are secured once darkness settles.
S.Few good trees for shade on a sunny day but needs many more. Very limited facilities. Mostly people just ride through on the gravel cycle path. Beats riding on the road.
D.Cute walking area connected to the bigger Trentham park; both extremely good options for spending time with friends, pets and family. Great for runners too.
A.A bit chilly late in the day, but a nice quiet spot close to the river. There is a small play area for children. Nice to stop and stretch the legs.
D.What a great local park. Beautiful views along the river and very clean with plenty of parking. Lots of birds too!

s.A beautiful walk, stroll or meander with or without a dog. Great sunset and just over the stop bank to Trentham Memorial Park, Bartons Bush and a great golf course, oh...near the Hutt River too.As I said...Beautiful What's more to want in a park?
M.Nice sunny. Not too many people. No cars or motorbikes

Toilets very clean but some way from the car park used to be able to drive there
D.Good wide open park, fields and trees and some picnic tables dotted around. Public loo. A pleasant walk along the Hutt river, some sports fields

r.Mint spot for an ice cream down by the riverbank. Could do with letting us drive in again.
G.Despite recent heavy rain the river just has that something special about it
