E.Best sandwiches I've ever had!! Always delicious, staff are super friendly and the slices and coffee are amazing. Definitely recommend their cold brew coffee, amazing with a bit of vanilla or spice. Has quickly become my weekly go to for a treat or two for lunch! Included a picture of my delicious selection for today - corned silverside and jalapeno grilled cheese yum
H.Tricky's Sandwich Co is a great little local business based in Upper Hutt. Ideal if you want to grab a snack for lunch when you are out and about. Both the venue and the food is well presented. The sandwich I had was very tasty. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Very good, highly recommended.

M.Not a sandwich fan but this place made me love sandwiches!!! They are really good and well worth the hype. I would like forward to try every sandwich on their menu but I live too far away. Hopefully they can branch out soon!

Go here for the Cubano sandwich and you’ll be so pleased! All the grilled cheese choices make for a very happy lunch. The happy and helpful staff make the experience quick, and can turn around an excellent coffee in no time.

D.Nice and bright, open and airy cafe. Staff are welcoming. Popular for hot coffees a number of regulars coming in welcomed by name. Basic furniture in keeping with the minimalist look. Heaps of parking out front, accessible by wheelchairs. By the way I dropped in to try their entry into Wellington On A Plate "Tres Chic", smaller than I expected but big on flavour.

L.Love this sandwich place - everything I've tried has been great. Their packaging is also very cute. The only improvement could possibly be a more inviting interior, but I tend to order mine to go anyway. Honestly, this place is a must-stop when I'm in Upper Hutt and I honestly wish they had other stores (or that I lived closer!)

J.If heard a lot about Tricky's from a number of different people so was eager to give it a go. I'd already had enough vice for the day when I arrived for lunch but my friend enjoyed his flat white. I ordered the Cubano and my friend ordered the ploughman's. However did to a dumb mistake on our part we picked up each other's sandwiches. We where halfway through before we checked so you know they weren't bad. Overall a really great sandwich in a nice, chilled spot. Highly recommended. Drink selection could be better but they do cold brew which I'm keen on so maybe that'll change.
J.I love this place. Coffee is generally pretty good and the sandwiches are tasty, crisp on the outside of the bread but still soft bread and a great assortment of fillings

S.Excellent made to order sandwiches. They were packed well and remained fresh to eat on our picnic. Fillings were generous. Menu was a bit limited and would have been great to have a gluten free option.

H.Definitely recommend Tricky's Sandwich Co. for catering & platters. I ordered sandwich platters just a day before my wedding ceremony. I gotta say that everyone loved the sandwiches as they tasted delicious.

K.DELICIOUS! I had the steak and cheese sandwich - the brisket with gravy was so soft and full of flavour. The bread was soft and crispy. It had a little bit of mustard and some spinach which just elevated the sandwich to next level. The cafe itself is modern, bright and welcoming. Highly recommend and look forward to trying more of their sandwiches
A.Omg I absolutely LOVE Trickys! I had a friend introduce me to it one lunchtime, and it is now one of our favourite lunch spots! The tuna melt, and the Reuben are my 2 absolute favourites, but I have tried quite a few now in my attempt to get through all of the options to try... It's so hard though to stray from my favourites!! The service is always absolutely excellent! Attentive and friendly staff who are most helpful despite how busy they often are!!

R.Yummy sandwiches and really good pulled pork. The Cuban was good too but pulled pork is a favourite. Wish they had turkey though because then I'd never go to subway but it's still well worth a visit since it's delicious and CHEAP!

S.Great wee place off the Main Street, we picked up a few sammies before closing time. The owner was gracious enough to have us eat in! We opted to sit in the sun. The sandwiches were delish, well packaged and each bite was packed with flavour! Definitely one to try ☺️

J.Long time customer here and tried the Ultimate Chicken Sandwich today. It was far from ultimate. Filling had the chicken but nothing else. Like to think it's an off day but last couple of times fillings have been quite lacking
