We have stayed at Church bay Escape twice now. The first time was for our honeymoon in 2013 and the most recent time was during a visit home to NZ to see family. We absolutely love staying at Church Bay Escape. The rooms are roomy and tidy. I love that you have a bit of room from you neighbors so you really do feel like your in your own little world. And the view is stunning. We loved sharing a cup of coffee on the deck before we would head into town to really start each day and ending each night with a glass on wine on the couch. The location is awesome, it's enough out of the way that it really does feel like an escape but it is close enough to everything that you can walk if your feeling like a wander (or had too much wine). Thank you for a great visit. We're already looking forward to our next trip back :)

You could not ask for a better location and view than from this 'escape!' A short walk to town and the beach, not to mention two award winning wineries right out your front door. We had a wonderful time. The room was perfect. The attention to detail and making the guests as welcome as possible was evident. We had a well stocked kitchen with teas and coffee for the morning. And the room was clean and very comfortable. There were mornings we did not want to leave! Thank you for a wonderful stay and we hope to come back soon!
