Reviews of Waiuku Botanic Reserve
L.
Pleasant when the tide is in and there is plenty of seating. However at the moment people have been throwing dishes (plates) into the mud, some broken and sharp. These certainly do not add a cared for look to the reserve

A beautiful spot in waiuku to relax has a wharf from the bays inlet. This area has a beautiful scenic bush walk that looks out over the bay and surroundings areas, also has facilities for campers nearby for emptying their waste and refill water.

Loved the walk through and nice views of the town over looking the water and across to tamakeke reserve have enjoyed lunch there seats available nice and relaxing great to take dogs and family for a walk through even though in the town found it to be very relaxing recommend to all to see and view plenty parking and fresh water available wheelchair accessible through the walk as well as stairs nice BBQ tables be great to relax with a picnic
V.
Nice & serene good place to eat fish n chips by the water
S.
We enjoyed our family walk along the estuary and hunting for painted rocks. We were a bit disappointed to find a dead end when walking along towards waiuku so had to back track. We would probably park down the side road to begin our walk next time
J.
Enjoyed a couple of peaceful hours, but not much to the reserve & couldn’t find any water fountains - just rubbish bins, no recycling bins....
B.
Went on the Ratahi Valentine's Day cruise.
Do yourself a favour and book one of their cruises. You will be guaranteed a great experience.

A lovely place to sit and relax, the view is lovely and the council has done a good job in turning this wasted area into a place well worth visiting.

I havn't been up here before so decided to take a walk and have a look around.
An hour later I arrived back to my car with some Kawa Kawa leaves, met some people I've never met before, had a couple of conversations so at the end of the day I enjoyed my time there.
D.
Set on the east side of Waiuku river with gravel access road to a sealed boat ramp (tidal) creating a beautiful but short Bush walk loop with Barbecue Table relaxation area and on to View Road School and a large open reserve at the top of the hill spanning to View road with fantastic viewing points of Waiuku town, Waiuku River and the Tamakae Te Rangatira Park.
J.
Great scenery, lovely views and walking
