Hands down one of the best activities we did while in Wanaka! My only regret was that we only had the time to do one activity and not the combo of everything! The rifle range was so much fun - honestly, I thought I'd be terrible at it but I was happy with how I went. I definitely agree with their website about male egos being bruised 🤣🤣 Next time, we're booking the combo because everyone needs shotguns and archery in their life as well - although, the mini golf will probably be where the fiercest competition comes out! Also, wicked staff! Super helpful 😁 thank you so much!

Had a great time there, we did some rifle shooting and mini-golf. I barely had any shooting experience but the instructor was very good and patient. They also have other activities like clay shooting and archery as well. Will definitely visit again when I'm in Wanaka.

Absolutely brilliant!! The staff were super helpful and accommodating. Had a great time! Found it was really good value as was there for 2 hours (Archery, Shooting and Driving range) and everyone loved it.

My partner and I went there to use the driving range and the guy that served us was fantastic, super chilled and informative, Everything was super tidy and fantastic value for money, Ended up doing the archery too. We will be heading back shortly. 👍🏼 Thank you for a good experience !

One of the places to visit while your in Wanaka. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good choices of things to do for all ages. I really enjoyed the Archery and the Rifle range.

I was on holiday and I adventitiously dropped by. It was raining but I honestly had the best time! This place exceeds all expectations. I did the archery here and I would definitely recommend it, it’s alot of fun! Jamie the manager was friendly, very helpful and an impressive archery teacher... see pic below. We had a great conversation which was a bonus, it was lovely to have met you see you in a few weeks :-)

Absolutely enjoyed a few hours there. Suitable for people of all ages! Many fun activities to do there including shooting, clay shooting, golfing etc, . Jamie, the owner has to be the coolest dude ever. Recommend it to everyone who visits Wanaka

MUST DO!! 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! This place was the highlight of our trip. The team there are SO friendly and welcoming, and we had such a great time that we actually went back a few days later to play again. The rifle range and clay bird shooting was our favourite. Try it out!!

Hi Everyone If you are visiting Wanaka then can I highly recommend having a go at Crossfire. My partner and I have just got back from there where we had a blast. I was brought up around guns so knew what to expect but my partner this was her first time even holding a shotgun. The Manager was very easy going and super friendly which made her feel more comfortable trying clay shooting in her words if it wasn't for him she probably wouldn't of had a go at all. This is why I am recommending them as he took the time to make our visit enjoyable to the point she is talking about returning tomorrow to try rifle and archery.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We got extra bullets because a few seems to be not working, and played mini golf complimentary because of a wait for the rifle range, even though we ended up not waiting at all. Wish it could have been easier to get advise or help on the guns because the instructor disappeared quick but we got it fine.

Our first time shooting a rifle/gun but the team in Crossfire makes it safe and fun experience. You can also do archery or clayshooting. A must do if you staying or passing by Wanaka.

The bloke who runs this place is a dead set legend who understands customer service. We had good fun at the driving range and clay shooting range. The only recommendation I'd suggest is a better tutorial for first-timers at the shooting range.

Such a great experience. The host was really friendly, went out of his way to help us and gave us recommendations for local activities and eateries. All over awesome person!!!

My husband & I loved our time here! Staff was very helpful and was also informative. We went there when it was less busy so did not have to wait for our turn. Plenty of carparks and very easy to find.

Totally worth doing the big shot comb. All are very different but super fun. Jamie is super lovely, he explained everything so well and made us feel at easy and comfortable. Your typical kiwi bloke. Highly recommend if you’re looking at doing something with the family. If you’re on a budget, I’d recommend doing the 22 shot gun target and archery.

Amazing day! We had 25 shoots, then we got round of archery. As we were with our son, lovely gentlemen at the range gave us to use complimentary mini golf course to entertain him. Awesome family day.

We visited Crossfire today for the first time since NZ opened up the travel bubble with Australia post covid lockdown. The team were super friendly and welcoming, provided clear instructions on how to shoot the rifles etc. It was an epic experience and one we won’t forget!

I have been here with 2 other friends and we did the small shot Combo at it was by far the experience I ever had with guns and bows. The manager helped us a lot so we felt safe at any time. Thanks for the great experience Crossfire, well done.

Had a great time clay bird shooting & in the rifle range!

An amazing experience. The farm tour was so interactive and interesting. We got to feed the deer and alpacas and sheep. The staff is very cooperative and friendly. The golf, Archery and shooting experience were too good. Definitely recommended to visit here.

Staff were fantastic, atmosphere was inviting and unlike most places where you have a babysitter, you're completely left alone to enjoy your experience.

Amazing time, 8 Adults, 7 kids and the owner was an absolute legend. Friendly, accomadating, for something we decided to do last minute can't recommend it more , great fun for the 9 year olds to the 50 year olds in our group.

Really cool place for a bit of friendly competition. Has a golf driving range, archery, clay bird shooting for the shotgun lovers and mild mannered .22's for some shoulder friendly target shooting challengers. Most importantly, I learned 3 things 1) I'm an ok shot with open sights. 2) That whilst the wife is not a bad shot, I feel confident there's still better than a 50/50 chance of me getting away safely if I really upset her and she tries shooting me. 3) I should frame my target and place it in a prominent area of the house so burglars will at least think twice before entering my property.

A must do when in Wanaka! We are locals here and have been here today the first time. It was me, my partner and my best friend visiting me from Melbourne. It was soooooo much fun!! Great in any weather as most of it is under a roof (it was rainy today). We definitely will go back here more often. It doesn't matter if you have never tried it, like me. Jamie explained it absolutely great to us on how to hold the guns etc., And I wasn't as bad as expected and it was lots of fun!! Have a shot! :)

Safe environment. Wich is the first thing you want while doing an activity of this sort. So much fun. We did 20 shots and me, that have never shot in my life, after the thrill of the first shot I was feeling like a pro even tho I just hit 2 clay discs.

Awesome place with so many different options! Really fun safe environment to learn how to fire a gun, bow or just smash some golf balls! The staff are fun easy going and really knowledgable. The more you ask to learn the more you will get back. Just be warned that smack talking is okay and encoyraged if you do the competition with a group!

Never bypass an opportunity not to stop here on the way to Wanaka. Mini golf, rifle shooting and the golf range all MASSIVE fun. Have previously participated in the archery and clay pigeon shooting. There's a farm stay there now too, but didnt stop there.

Easily the best value entertainment in the area. My friends and I did clay shooting, rifle shooting, archery and mini golf - over 3 hours of entertainment - for only $95 each. Considering that some places in Queenstown charge $150 for clay shooting alone - and that we had just burned $240 each on a disappointing, 10 second giant swing - Crossfire Wanaka is remarkable value. There are cheaper options too, if you're not interested in clay shooting or are pressed for time. Furthermore, the two guys running the show at Crossfire Wanaka are very friendly and extremely helpful. We had an absolute blast (pun intended) and would totally recommend this to anyone wanting to have an awesome time without blowing the week's rent in 10 seconds.

Had an excellent day at this place, shooting rifles and shotguns, for a cheaper price than i ever would have expected. The archery, driving range and mini golf were brilliant as well. Jamie was a great host who really added to the visit. Genuinely great place which we won't forget.

Oh dear, I must be getting old. My 16 yo son has finally managed to draw 61 all at mini golf. Might have to stop playing. Always a good time here. No Jamie today but will catch up later in the week before going back home to Chch.

This is a MUST DO! So impressed with the venue and facilities - it's a brilliant design to provide anything from 1 hour to all day entertainment. Jamie was so welcoming and knowledgeable, which definitely made the experience even better.

There are several different activities here, with archery and a small bore shooting range as well as clay pigeon shooting, and golf driving. I found the staff were very helpful with me as a first time shooter, and I enjoyed the time here very much.

Great fun. Did archery here for the first time. I accidentally whacked the string into my arm like a dummy and the staff very kindly gave me something cold to put on it. They also made a great recommendation of visiting the warbirds cafe down the road which I also HIGHLY recommend for lunch! Their chicken burger is delicious!

Fun day playing mini golf with the kids.

Peter was most professional as he accommodated our session and proceeded to get us start on claybird shooting. Anyone from Singapore should totally do this because in Singapore to do shooting (even for fun) one will need to go through a lot of regulations ie. Buying a gun, getting licenses and purchase of ammo, etc. That's why my emphasis especially when u have such an opportunity to get this done at a totally reasonable price and have so much fun while doing it. Lucky for us is that as Singaporean guys we probably have experience firing rifles. That said however, the recoil from the shotgun is on a different level. Other than that there is just so much value in this. You should totally do this when in wanaka. They have other activities like archery and mini golf too for the less adventurous too. Cheers

This place is like I've been shot and gone to heaven guns golf arrows battlefield and a friendly chap named Jerry makes this place my favorite place so far its clean, freshly painted, safe, suitable for everyone there are so many different things to do if you are in the area see for your self I've been twice this week and can't wait to go again!!

Stayed at their glamping site and spent time shooing claybirds. Fun activities for all! If you're a large group, do try out the battlefield station!!

A little limited on each of the activities but does offer a wide selection. Fun and worth checking out

Great fun! I had never fired a gun before and managed to hit 7 out of 20 clay pigeons after some instruction from their friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyed target shooting, mini-golf and the driving range too. Archery didn't appeal to me so I didn't bother with that but I can highly recommend the things I did try.

It was a lot of fun! The staff was very friendly and we had an awesome evening!:) its a must go!:D

It was here where I found my love of Gun shooting and Archery. Crossfire Wanaka provides many people the opportunity to try something new. Before I came here, I’ve never even touched a gun before! Who knew I would like shooting? The staff here is super nice and they help you if it’s your first try. Coming here is essential when in Wanaka

I tried the clay pigeon shooting. It was quick and easy to get started, and the guy running the place was unbelievably friendly. An all-round great experience.

A lay back place for a trail of firearms. This is not a place for pros, but for people who never played guns and are on holiday and want to give it a try. There are help and the equipment is effective. When on a sunny day putt putt is also a good fun for kids.
