T.Amazing trail, somewhat rough though and many hills so only suitable for experienced hikers
L.(Translated) A nice walk (1 hour) in a grazing valley (sheep & cattle) following a small stream. The trail passes on private properties but is very well drawn. The hike is pleasant because it is off the beaten path and is therefore a reasonable affluence.
It is divided into a four-part course comprising three mountain refuges. The first "Fern Burn Hut" is 3-4 hours of steps.

Une belle balade (1 heure) dans une vallée de pâturage (ovins & bovins) qui suit un petit cours d'eau. Le sentier passe sur des propriétés privées mais est très bien tracé. La randonnée est agréable car elle sort des sentiers battus et subit donc une affluence raisonnable.
Elle se décline sur un parcours en quatre parties comprenant trois refuges en altitude. Le premier "Fern Burn Hut" étant à 3-4 heures de marches.
J.(Translated) February 2019 We hiked from the parking lot to Fern Burn Hut and back. Beautiful 5-hour hike. First along the stream, through a birch forest, then over Tussock, up and down, to the hut. For sure-footed hikers recommended.

Februar 2019 Wir sind vom Parkplatz bis zum Fern Burn Hut und zurück gewandert . Schöne 5 Std. Wanderung . Erst am Bach entlang, durch einen Birkenwald , dann über Tussock , auf und ab ,zur Hütte. Für Trittsichere Wanderer empfehlenswert.
D.(Translated) I started at the parking lot along the stream after 2 hours past the first hut and walked to Jack Hall's Saddle and back to the parking lot. With a bit of stamina and surefootedness, this is a wonderful track. After 7 hours, including breaks in the sun, I was very happy back at the car. It's a bit like a smuggler's trail :)

Ich bin am Parkplatz gestartet dem Bach entlang nach 2h an der ersten Hütte vorbei und bis zum Jack Hall's Saddle gelaufen und wieder zurück zum Parkplatz. Mit etwas Kondition und Trittsicherheit ist das ein wunderschöner Track. Ich war nach 7h, inkl. Pausen in der Sonne, sehr zufrieden wieder am Auto. Hat so ein bischen was von einem Schmugglerpfad :)
