Great place, great service! We booked a venue for our child's birthday and received fantastic service from the team at Chipmunks. The venue is very clean, well run and safe for kids. The food and snacks were also really good and kids loved it. Will definitely recommend.

This is my son's favorite play are. The coffee is great as well. Lots of activities for the kids and lot of room. The staff is great and we always have a good time. Also very good wifi if you have to pull out your work laptop.

This place has really grown recently, with new areas for both little kids (home/kitchen play area and expanded ride on area with seats for grown ups) as well as some video games for older kids and foos ball and table hockey. Food is there usual for kids parties. Good, child/potent friendly bathroom facilities.

Its alright. Stock standard place for kids. Somewhat clean. Some of the staff are really good, other are not so good. Digital devices are out of order, probably for months while they get their act together. Food and drink is ok, and not TOO expensive. Overall not bad.

perfect for small kids, gotta a very clean environment, free computer games pingpong and etc… after pay entry… party rooms, kids under 5 play area. kids could spend whole day here. Awesome place. Staff also very kind and helpful. definitely visit again

Good place for kids of early ages. Staff can be hard to find at times. This place can get real busy quick so I would highly recommend if you are placing orders for food you plan accordingly to avoid grumpy kids. Food and coffee is not too bad either.

Really enjoyed our time there. Clean and well laid out. The division of the areas was great. The noisier, more active stuff was at the back and more imaginative play was at the front, which made leaving quite easy since my daughter could play quietly and calm down from all the excitement. The comfy chairs for adults was a nice touch. Staff were pleasant as well!

Beautiful coffee machines are quite loud even more so when there's loads of kids suggest maybe earplugs for those with sensitive ears.

It's ok ,recommend more gaming facilities and glue soft mats to the floor as this is a trip hazard.

Great place to go with ur little ones. Spacious and warm. Playground for different age groups. Kids have little toliets. Changing table for the little ones. Atmosphere and staff are great. Food? Yummy 😊😍 Highly recommend if ur going with family or meeting up with play dates.

We hired a party room....food/Entry included .. For 10 Tamarki and 5 adults... Came up to $189 with unlimited play....Took our own cake.... We basically had the place to ourselves very quiet monday morning. We werent complaining bonus for us... Nice a clean place and food was great.

We took our 4 years old today, he loved it! Lot of different area for every ages. Some news games too arcades kind like (I think it was news haven't been there in ages so don't remember if they were there or not) Clean, tidy no complain about this. Only little thing is the ball battle area only one "gun" was working so wasn't much fun for the all kids to enjoy in the same time

Absolutely pleased with the upgrade of chipmunks! The new owners have outdone themselves! I stopped going due to the old management being horrendous! Food was great, prices are reasonable, so much do for kids all different ages! We had a blast and will definitely be back. Only thing I would suggest is another changing table 😄.

My first time at this venue as I was attending a birthday party for one of my grand-nieces. The separate party room for our lot was a great idea. The kids had a table set up for them, with appropriate special chair for the birthday girl, and there was more than enough seating around the room for us adults. Drinking water was provided in the room. The kids loved the various play areas dotted around the main interior, the main attraction for them being the huge slide (sufficient safety mats etc at the bottom to cushion any wild rides down the slide). It was quite busy and there appeared to be enough staff on hand to cope with the kids, parents and grandparents. As this is more of a kids venue, there's not a whole lot to keep adults amused, but you're kept pretty busy keeping an eye on the little ones, anyway. Food was average, but there was plenty of it, so can't really complain.

Great service by staff and a lot of options for children of different ages. Heaps of new things to do and all the activities inside are now free! The new area for babies with couches for parents is a great addition. Everything there is lovely and clean.

An excellent and educational playground for kids parties. Have been to a few events at this location. You need to have your wits to monitor your small ones in some play areas. Overall the kids love this place. Prices are not to steep

Quite expensive to get in, and then a lot of things you had to pay extra for (a train that went for only a few minutes). The food was limited and even my 3.5 year old son said it was 'yuk' (chicken nuggets, usually his fav). Lots of the equipment was also broken and some even had tape holding it together. Observing the staff they all seemed disinterested and like talking to people or children was interrupting their social chatter amongst each other. May have just been on a bad day but smiling and getting excited for the sake of kids AMPING to get on a train costs nothing, while eye rolling and picking your fingernails makes YOU look like a bad person. Have heard owners have changed since we went so would give it another try in future.

Large space. Always seating. Friendly staff. Great treat for kids. The inflatable slide is huge. Parking almost unlimited as it's in the same block as outlet City which btw don't waste your time with except for the BBs cafe.

Always a good afternoon out, the equipment is clean and we'll maintained and so are the toilets. They also have small size toilets for small children which is Handy. Food is tasty and there is a good selection considering it is a kids play place.

Great place to visit with kids.. under 5s area could perhaps be a bit bigger with padded flooring? Wasn't much suitable for my 10mo to play with/ on, so he mainly sat in the little ball pit. The food we ordered took AGES, we went up twice to check if it was coming as we thought it might have been forgotten.. staff apologised lots and bought us extra fries which was a lovely gesture. Thanks heaps =)

This place has become much better post new ownership. I Had the yummiest bruchetta, the kids meals still aren't healthy though. The staff were great with the kids, and everything that used to be broken seemed to be fixed.

My granddaughter loves going and spends hours having heaps of fun, the entry fee is expensive for a 4 year old . Half the equipment is broken and doesn't work. For the price u pay it should be all in working order. Staff were excellent friendly and helpful. I would prob rate it 5 out of ten.

Chipmunks Playland and Cafe Tawa is a great little spot for the little ones to burn off some energy. There are a number if different areas available and cordoned off, especially for the smaller ones which is great as the majority of other kids play grounds don't have barriers in place. There is plenty of activities and areas for young explorers to run around including a ball area, slides and climbing areas. The staff are 5 star, they re super friendly and very helpful with the different menu items available during covid restrictions. The food was great, we had nuggets and fairy bread which my little man absolutely loved. There are a plethora of seats available as well which is also great compared to other centre's. I would highly recommend coming down and visiting Chipmunks Playland and Cafe Tawa with your little ones.
