Spacious park to play soccer or cricket, can sit under the shady trees, feed birds near to karori bush walk, cemetery nearby.

I was actually visiting the Mini Coffee Cafe. Their preferred bean is L'affare. Nice and dense, reminiscent of the robusta bean of many years ago. Also sold is a range of Mrs Higgins baked goods, including some very nice gf items.

Great dog park here for the dogs, fully enclosed with water and poo bags. Even has a fun little tunnel. Would love to see a few more obstacles for dogs put in, but a nice large open area to play which is rare in Wellington!

Huge field great for all outdoor sports. Popular spot for locals to go for walks and runs. Easily accessible in a quietly reserved area.

This is an excellent fully fenced, off-lead dog exercise area. We need more of these facilities in Wellington . . . and please clean up after your pooch (bags usually available at the entrance) 😊

Central All Breeds have an enclosed dog park here, great training facility. Can get a bit muddy and not all owners pick up after their dog.

As far as fields go it's not one of the best, but does the job. The upper fields in he past didn't have good drainage, and there's nothing in the way of public facilities that I've ever noticed. If your kids play sport there, do ensure they have a shower afterwards (given previous rubbish tip foundation). Generally it's also always good to take a jacket as the winds cut through you like a knife. There is some parking between fields, though on a busy day you'll want to get in early, or just park up on the main road.

Great dog exercise area. Most people were friendly except the old gal who didn't want her dogs to socialize with other breeds. Her loss, we had a great time with all the other dogs there. If you find a white rubber ball in a large muddy puddle you may keep it! Lol

Great sports and recreational area. As well as rugby and cricket, it has a BMX course and a fenced dog exercise area. It's good to have such a well maintained and attractive facility in the inner city suburbs.

I have nothing to compare it too, yet. Only recently got a doggie. She liked it lots. Could do with some better drainage, and maybe features like trees or shrubs. But it's very accessible and handy to the western 'burbs.

Large park with a bmx biking area and a dog training area, however the grounds often becomes very water logged and muddy during winter. There are multiple feilds so games can be played similtaniously

BMX track in the excellent condition, competition grade; fantastic dog play area (even if you don't own a dog, fun to watch them all play!); acres of fields; access to Karori Cemetery; access to Wilton Bush. All round great place for cat swinging, kite flying, or caber tossing.
