S.I don't usually write reviews so I'm definitely stoked!
I moved down to Wellington recently and got my hair cut by Ben. I think its 100% worth. I definitely recommend that guys, and anyone with curly hair, go to Ben/Jam Studio as they are the best place I've ever been to for it and their reputation around town for curls definitely lives up to the hype.
T.Victoria is such a cool chick! Very professional and great to have a chat with. She did such a good job with my hair, 10/10 recommend!
L.I went to Jam to get multiple colours in my hair of purple, green and pink. I had my consultation with Victoria and was impressed with her knowledge and her excitement to achieve what I wanted.
Victoria took great care of my hair, doing a test to see how it would bleach and when it came out well, we booked in. We did two bleaches and I was ecstatic when Victoria said she thought we would be able to get to the pink colour. I thought my pre-dyed ends and natural brown hair might not be able to get light enough.
The process took 5 hours but I was treated so well from start to finish. This was my first time at Jam and Victoria was just amazing. The finished look was even better than I had imagined and I just love it so much!
It has now been two weeks and I have washed my hair in cold water twice as per Victoria's instructions. It is still as bright as it was when I left the salon and I get so many compliments! Will be back when my roots start coming through for sure.

I booked with Ben Bampton through recommendation and he took care of all my hair woes. I told him my backstory and what I wanted from my hair, and he delivered. I was almost in tears seeing the outcome from blonde to pink. Not only was it exactly what I wanted, but he treated me kindly and ensured it was done to the best of his abilities. It was a stellar feeling, and I will definitely be going back and forever from now on!

E.I honestly can not say enough good things about Jam! The most friendly and welcoming staff ever and the services are amazing! I usually see Marriana and she is the best hairdresser ever! Seriously, her talent is out of this world! She really listens to what you are wanting and thinks about how your cut/colour will work with your lifestyle. A.Victoria worked her magic on my hair, silver roots with like dreamy rose quartz on the ends - picture does not do it justice! Even though it was all bleached it’s still in good condition, absolutely recommend her to anyone wanting their hair colour dreams to come to life.

S.I had been box dying my hair black for 5 years and Ben from Jam revived it!! I'd been wanting to do something more colourful for a while but I was scared about bleaching out the black. Ben bleached and coloured it perfectly! It's exactly how I wanted it to look and it's still in great condition!! I couldn't possibly reccomend Jam enough, if I could give them more than 5 stars I would!!

z.I can’t recommend jam enough my mother and father had been clients of tony the owner for 20 years when I came in with an absolute botch up extension job from another salon my hair was extremely damaged and short. This is when I met the hair magician Ben he worked his magic. Now 6 months later my natural hair is long and healthy thanks to Ben’s instructions , my extensions don’t look like extensions thanks to his amazing techniques. I can’t thank him enough this is the mermaid hair I always dreamt about having and now it’s my reality 😍

C.I'll say 3 cause all of the other times I've went it's been absolutely amazing but the previous time... Oh my god. The back was amazing but at the front my bangs were cut to short and the guy cut this wierd 2cm half fringe under. I absolutely hate my hair right now, I'm even considering extensions, I can't stand it. 😪
