Reviews of Mokoroa Bush Reserve
D. A.Good track down into the valley and up to the top of the hill. Young Bush so not as sheltered from the sun as expected. Wear a hat and sunscreen if walking in the hot day. A few steep bits but easy track. We saw a couple of weka. And heard a bellbird. Lovely little doors made for some of the trees to keep an eye out for. Such a nice idea. Hope they don't get nicked. And a nice little waterfall at the other end.
A. M.Great hiking area, beautiful surrounding bush and beach scenery, take a lot of water if doing 16km

L. I.Fantastic walk, whether you do the whole of it or a potion. Just off the main road, but can't hear cars etc. Kiwi sanctuary.
