Very well built trails, really liked Anaconda, but also Undertow and Tsunami. Of course it‘s not Rotorua in terms of size of network and amount of vertical, but has a very clear layout with good connecting trails and good flow and well built berms and tables. Worth spending a day for sure, and 2-3 to explore and figure out all trails.

Brought our Year 12 Students from Waihi College for MTB assessment last week. Congrats to the design team and contractors who have created and formed the tracks. Some of the best we have ever ridden. Tracks are in mint condition with challenges at all levels. Some of the berm runs are spectacular with the student fav being Tsunami. We were there all day and left with a ton of runs not yet done. Look forward to coming back. Thanks again Whangamata MTB.

Conditions were perfect between 8:00 and 10:00am.
Clay base and berms were tacky and grippy.
Recommended after all the work that has been put into the tracks over the last year.
The team putting their time into these tracks deserve a shout out.

Unfortunately logging has removed some of the trails and limited access. Great place to ride if your in the area but wouldn't make a special trip whilst logging is going on. Check the clubs Facebook page for updates

Great spot for a quick session. A little something for everyone. Look forward to seeing the developments over the coming year or two. Still evolving from what I can see. Like our trails, volunteers make trails better so if you are local or ride often there, chip in and lend a hand.

Some great trails from easy flowing trails to some technical stuff and some good jumps, something for everyone.

Trails here were good fun. A good range of easy to more difficult. Currently most of the forest is closed due to logging but the trails on Loop Road are open. Still a good few hours of riding to be had. No facilities just a car park.

Great facility. MTB tracks shared with production forestry operations. From time to time the tracks are closed due to Forest Operations. When this is occurring there is signage in place advising as such. It is important for everyone's safety that these signs are obeyed. Stay out means stay out - it does not mean - doesn't apply to me i'll be sweet - a 4 tonne log, 30 tonne machine, 50 tonne logging truck will always take precedence over a human.

Brilliant off road park. Technically challenging if you do the Bullock. Currently a fair bit of logging being finished of but really good seeing the track builders and bulldozer in action. New tracks for the next 20 years 😁

Good first time. Signs earlier on the trails and couple more arrows to make sure you're on the right track but first impression pretty good.
