B.Good parking. The shops are all well lit and easy access. The food court is generous comparing to the different shops. It's great to be able to: have a cup of coffee ☕ or tea 🍵 with a snack before shopping at any of the 7 stores. The disability toilet is generous and the toilers ate all super clean.
W.Square in centre of town opposite Maria Place. Free WiFi Sparks hotspot. Has fountain, iak trees, some food stalls, seating area and sound shell stage, Quieter area up steps. cafe called the Mint. Across from Queens Park.
A.Beautiful place to visit. So many old buildings Well kept. Very nice place to visit.
T.Lovely place to sit and eat your lunch. There is a dell where sometimes music, poetry and drama can be seen and Hurd. Large area on different levels, nice semi mature tree's and well kept gardens. Situated on the main shopping area, from the town bridge to Guyton st. Good place to rest before continuing your shopping. Vendors for food and beverages to one side.
G.A lovely open space right in the heart of Wanganui central business district. There are a large number of cafes, businesses and cultural landmarks that mean you can make a nice day trip visit to this area. Great for young children with the fountain in the main area with lots of free parking around back and cheap parking out front. Lots of events are organised here so keep an eye out for regular updates.
R.Great food, atmosphere and service. There is also a playground for kids.
J.Very open and lovely scenic spot to walk around with family and friends and can get lovely views of the town up the stairs. Also great spot for a bit of town history to read up on and experience 😁
D.A beautiful oasis in the middle of town, coffee cart and food close by. Ample seating to sit down and wait for a friend or quietly read a while.
D.It's a awesome place to sit and watch everyone go by. And to look at all the lovely buildings too
J.Nice peacful place to sit and enjoy a hot drink in the open air and in the heart of the city its perfect to escape the hustle and bustle of ciry living.
