Reviews of Springvale Park
A.Great place for all the sports. Large sports field - great for flying kites or kicking a ball around. Pool is great! Bike track is lots of fun for the kids to ride around on, including the track with traffic lights for the younger ones. Bike track could do with some maintenance.
Otherwise Springvale Pak is a fantastic place for all the family.
F.Springvale Park has lots to offer. Gymnastics for children, a multifunctional pool centre, pump track, a track for kids to learn how to bike and giveway and a bbq area with seating. Also an area for freedom camping is designated. To achieve 5 stars, I think the facilities at the pools and gym club could be updated. Also the staff at the pool are laid back but could be a little friendly and more upbeat.
L.I visit this "park" to use the hydrotherapy pool in the Splash Centre. It's a wonderful facility, where the safety of the users & staff are clearly paramount. There are three wheelchair parks near the entrance, and if they're in use I can usually find a park close by. They do have food & hot/cold drinks available, although I've never availed myself of them.
B.Amazing park thsy has A lot for the children to do amazing themes of the castle two pumpkins to a dolphin and I’m very impressed. Cycle tracks are all connecting very impressed with this place

R.Really awesome kids riding area but now it needs some maintenance on the Asphalt tracks as water has eroded parts
H.Lovely and quiet, my mate stays here in his house truck. Has the splash available meters away. My only issue has been resolved, the free camp ground had no rubbish bins but I got a surprise to see there is finally a bin... well done, highly recommended

L.I have never really Understood Springvale park In a general sense seem the council decided to build spots facilities at theseslarge playing grounds instead of keeping these more centrally. why?
S.A wide open space, great for all the different sports held here, great for exercising the dog's when it's sport free and wonderful for kite flying!
They even have the circus when it visit's and often the gypsy fair. Perhaps the only downside is that it tends to flood.
It backs onto the boys and girls gym, the splash centre, the new sport's Wang complex and the jubilee stadium where numerous sport's event's are held.😊🚶🤸🏊
C.Fun for all ages kids love it while us adults can play with them or cook a bbq close by.
P.Well maintained dog friendly grounds which can be a bit muddy with to much rain, there's plenty of space for the family to kick a ball around and is the perfect place for kite flying or a picnic under a tree.
T.Awesome wide open space for kids, walking dogs kite flying an other activities.
Junior rugby grounds and touch grounds as well as a cricket pitch.
Next to gymnasium, swimming pools, bike tracks

And the good thing is there is a dump station on site with fresh water.

Whanganui is gem, no traffic friendly people and a growing art community.
Well worth the trip and a great place to settle.
J.This park is great, it is very big and is always clean and well maintained it’s great to see a lot of different sports being played and the different activities that are being held here. It is also very dog friendly I recommend spending some time here.

A.Has a huge field so anything can be done here but there is no actual park for kids to play on so why is it called Springvale Park?

J.Jubilee stadium is an amazing facility for sport and other leisure events and promotional activities.
P.There are multiple facilities here. I visited the Springvale hall for badminton. That was a good experience. The coffee at BP across the road is great.
J.Big open ground with well maintained lawns, good for a game of touch or for a family day out flying kites.
