Great place for all the sports. Large sports field - great for flying kites or kicking a ball around. Pool is great! Bike track is lots of fun for the kids to ride around on, including the track with traffic lights for the younger ones. Bike track could do with some maintenance. Otherwise Springvale Pak is a fantastic place for all the family.

Springvale Park has lots to offer. Gymnastics for children, a multifunctional pool centre, pump track, a track for kids to learn how to bike and giveway and a bbq area with seating. Also an area for freedom camping is designated. To achieve 5 stars, I think the facilities at the pools and gym club could be updated. Also the staff at the pool are laid back but could be a little friendly and more upbeat.

I visit this "park" to use the hydrotherapy pool in the Splash Centre. It's a wonderful facility, where the safety of the users & staff are clearly paramount. There are three wheelchair parks near the entrance, and if they're in use I can usually find a park close by. They do have food & hot/cold drinks available, although I've never availed myself of them.

Amazing park thsy has A lot for the children to do amazing themes of the castle two pumpkins to a dolphin and I’m very impressed. Cycle tracks are all connecting very impressed with this place

Lovely and quiet, my mate stays here in his house truck. Has the splash available meters away. My only issue has been resolved, the free camp ground had no rubbish bins but I got a surprise to see there is finally a bin... well done, highly recommended

I have never really Understood Springvale park In a general sense seem the council decided to build spots facilities at theseslarge playing grounds instead of keeping these more centrally. why?

A wide open space, great for all the different sports held here, great for exercising the dog's when it's sport free and wonderful for kite flying! They even have the circus when it visit's and often the gypsy fair. Perhaps the only downside is that it tends to flood. It backs onto the boys and girls gym, the splash centre, the new sport's Wang complex and the jubilee stadium where numerous sport's event's are held.😊🚶🤸🏊

Well maintained dog friendly grounds which can be a bit muddy with to much rain, there's plenty of space for the family to kick a ball around and is the perfect place for kite flying or a picnic under a tree.

Awesome facilities pump track pools and wide open spaces for sport and exercising dogs. A dump station for campers and the ability to freedom camp. Whanganui is gem, no traffic friendly people and a growing art community. Well worth the trip and a great place to settle.

This park is great, it is very big and is always clean and well maintained it’s great to see a lot of different sports being played and the different activities that are being held here. It is also very dog friendly I recommend spending some time here.

There are multiple facilities here. I visited the Springvale hall for badminton. That was a good experience. The coffee at BP across the road is great.
