Beautiful little place, have their own honey production (inc Manuka honeys), lovely walks (on their private land so only open for those on Sundays), but great staff and the accommodation options look nice too. Recommended :)

There were very nice and great hot chocolate and a great coffee and I would recommend you to go it 9s worth the work or drive.

Stayed here for 3 nights at Mara. Was lovely. Accommodation was clean and had wifi. Beach access was good. Nice walks nearby. Definitely saw plenty of native birds. Loved the honey. Horse riding is a must.

Tahi is a beautiful site, staff are amazing, so is the food at the restaurent. It is equally a beautiful natural reserve with plenty of great walks. Definitely recommend a visite!!!

My husband and I stayed at Tahi in May 2017, and we are hoping to book a cottage again this summer. We stayed at Hiwi, a beautifully decorated but low key house with two bedrooms. The weather was beautiful, and Hiwi looks out over a beautiful beach. A very nice touch was the fire built for us in the log burner. We were also able to access the walks through Tahi's restored nature retreat, and spotted lots of native birds up close. Lovely peaceful break. Tahi is quite isolated, so I recommend bringing provisions. The kitchen is well set up for cooking.

Great day today at the open day...learned a lot...got up close to the beehives....had a honey tour...bought some honey and had great food at the cafe...open day is once a year so if you missed it then put it in your diary for next year...or maybe get a group of friends and organise a tour with them...
