Fantastic showgrounds for dog walking, horse riding or generally walking the various trails. Could do with a Covid QR Code...

It's nice. Good for kids to play at the pond feeding the ducks. The field is good for the kids to play and run around. I find it good location for photoshoot as well and a location for weddings or other events. The view around it is very photogenic for all kind of events. I love it

When there's no animals or events on, it is an amazing big open space to run around with the pets and kids. Just sidestep the sheep poo 😄

A multifunctional park, horse show-jumping competitions, fairgrounds, livestock exhibitions. Also a lovely park for walking or playing with your children. Maunu-School organized their annual cros country in the park.

Awesome big park. I take my dog here and do the loop, always good to see other dogs running around too. There are not enough places like this in Whangarei, so awesome to be able to use this. Also whomever the farmer is that is comfortable with dogs around the stock, this is awesome, I walk my dog on a lead in these area's but it has gone a long way into training my dog how to be around other large animals without any confrontation. Without being able to do this, he would have always been a nuisance! Now he is comfortable to be in a paddock with cows and sheep.

After spending time at Flip Out, we went to Barge Park to relax, chill out and eat fish and chips. We loved the peaceful surroundings, no-one else was around so it was perfect.

Barge Park has and will always hold a special place in my heart. From its fine show of old-time machinery and workmanship, to factual museum and beautiful kiwi house where you can spend a whole day constantly enraptured in activity.
