P.Awesome cinema in the heart of whitianga.
Really friendly staff and well presented foyer and shop front.
The ticket prises were reasonable and snacks were yummy.
I love the smell of popcorn and it was so tasty.
The cinema itself was clean and tidy and really comfortable seating with loads of space.
The movie was outstanding. Totally recommend going here to see a movie
C.Really awesome cinema experience. Staff were super friendly and helpful, the popcorn was way better than the bigger chains and really tasty. They have alcoholic beverages so you can enjoy a beer or wine while you watch the movie. You get a good view of the screen wherever you sit. Great prices on everything. Couldn't fault it, great family run cinema! Highly recommended!
H.We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at the Mercury Twin Cinemas. The movie theatres were clean, comfortable and well-maintained. Very friendly customer service and reasonably priced snacks. Blankets and extra pillows were provided free of charge. Highly recommended :) we will be back for more movies!

K.A great local cinema experience while we were on holiday. Our family watched an adventure film and the screen was a good size and the sound quality excellent. Food was quite reasonably priced too with some good combo options.

H.First time visitor to the cinema here. I remember the days when the movies were held in the town hall with uncomfortable wooden seats. Such a step up for Whitianga! Good selection of movies and popcorn was reasonably priced too. Was pleasantly surprised that they had $10 movies available, one of which we watched.
k.Cute little cinema, spacious seats, you can grab a cusion and a blanket to feel more comfortable. Friendly guy behind the counter. Wide selection of wines 😃 some movie tickets for 10NZD!
T.I love this place. It's not some big city flash cinema and they don't try to be. The customer service is so far above anything we have ever received in any other cinema. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The cinema seats were comfortable but still had access to pillows as you walked into the cinema if you wished. Excellent prices on tickets and snacks. Great facilities. Shows all the latest movies with a great timetable.
L.Saw Moana here. Good little theatre. Love how it was not super LOUD and how i didn't need a jumper as the aircon was just right. Sit were you like. Snack shop not expensive. Provide cushions for kids to sit on. Spacious seating. Will return as a treat for our camping holidays
P.This was a little slice of heaven; delightful couple who I assume we're the owners. A bit unsure when walked in and they said knee blankets and pillows available, we thought maybe cold and uncomfortable, but far from it, just added to the experience.
Told us all about local eateries, the plans for redevelopment of the Main Street and we're just a joy.
A definite revisit before we return home.
Next time will buy the M&Ms , but would not have rested well on a vindaloo curry last night.
N.A great little theatre! We saw Aquaman. The tickets were $16 each for adults. The popcorn was reasonably priced- $5 for a large. The seats were comfortable.
M.A great movie theater and that nostalgic old school feeling is great. It's an intimate family experience
W.A nice little boutique cinema offers pillows, serves alcohol and spacious leg room there's only 2 screens and the screenings are updated on paper on the window rather than on website and the toilets are quite far away if mid film but is a nice cinema and staff were friendly
