We chose Johnny and the crew from Pure Eco Painting because of their commitment to the environment but we were also impressed by their commitment to professionalism and a quality finish. The team was friendly and tidy to work alongside as we renovated our old villa.

Jonny painted the interior and exterior of our house. He also varnished the interior rimu skirtings. Did a fantastic job. Got to know him really well. Would highly recommend him. Update: We sold our previous home and bought a new one. We asked Jonny to fully repaint the interior. He did an amazing job using The Natural Paint Company range. His workmanship was first class filling holes in the walls and skim coating where it was needed. He did a brilliant feature wall in our sons room. Using the natural paint meant that the house didn’t smell of the usual paint smell. I still highly recommend Jonny to anyone.

We hired Pure Eco Painting to paint our new house in Christchurch. Jonny and his team were exceptional. We have a lot of colour in our house so any minor defect is noticeable and the cutting in where two colours meet has to be perfect. The result is better than I imagined, just completely flawless and stunning. I am absolutely certain we could not have achieved this result with anyone else. Jonny was a complete pleasure to work with, extremely accommodating, conscientious and reliable.

We found out about Pure Eco Painting as they are the painters of choice for Tim's Garden who were doing some work for us. What a lucky find! Jonny and his team did a great job on the fence, trellis and raised bed and we are delighted with the final result. Used them to paint my tiny house interior. They did an amazing job. Even though it was a small space, there was a lot of fiddly little details ( gaps to be filled, edges and trims to be blended in, etc). In 2 and a half days they got everything done in what would have taken me a year to finish. Glad I used them and would highly recommend them, specially if you have kids and you dont want them smelling harmful chemicals.

Jonny from Pure Eco Painting, did the plastering and painting of our shop refurbishment. One of the best things was the use of eco-friendly paints, as an organic shop our customers expect that we would keep toxicity levels as low as possible when we do anything in our shop. The workmanship is superb and people still come in and say how it makes the shop look so much nicer. Jonny was really helpful, he was able to work around our needs, was efficient, sourced products we needed, and left the place very tidy once his work was complete. Jonny from Pure Eco painting was recommended to us by our neighbour. Our home is made of macrocarpa board and batten and a collection of old style windows. His suggestions were great and his attention to detail is superb from the prewash, to undercoats and final coats. As Jonny progressed in painting the exterior of our home we decided that the interior needed some attention too. We did not hesitate to sign up Jonny for those jobs as well. Jonny recently re-coated the Lawson cyprus cladding on our home. I found that Jonny had a great understanding of what we could achieve and gave me lots of tips during the first consultation including how to match the color. We live in a two year old home so wanted to make sure the finish was crisp and neat. With Jonny's skill with the brush and great selection of chemical free stains he has achieved a finish that looks outstanding. It looks better than when originally completed with a darker colour that really makes the knots of the timber stand out.
