I've been going there for years and notice the service has improved under new ownership. It's the right place to order house and automotive paint. Their shelf products like paint brushes, aerosol cans etc are often more expensive than places like Bunnings or Mitre 10

C.I'm a bit shocked it has taken me this long to write a review! I just assumed I had already done it given the consistently awesome service we get there. I had planned on adding an update given our most recent interaction, when I saw I failed to post the review I had likely written in my head hundreds of times through the years!
Sure, you might be able to save a few bucks by going to the big box stores, but will you REALLY save money in the long run?
Probably not.
Here's why....the time, effort, and money I have saved by buying all our paint, stain, wood oils from Wynn Fraser is now pretty significant. We own a building company. But as the wife of the builder, I'm often tasked with doing the legwork on the colour selection for most things, since Hubby is flat out building houses.
Not only will the staff at Wynn Fraser take the time to help you make the best product choice for your project, they will stand by it. I made an appointment with Pam for their colour consultation service and her input and guidance was invaluable! She did such an amazing job helping with colour selection that so many of our own clients have decided to replicate it in their own homes.
Gavin and Rudy (?) are two other standouts that have consistently given exceptional service and advice.
So that extra $7 you might save at the big box stores? Negligible when you know that you've made the right choice in product and colour the FIRST time. But if you didn't (because Hubby figured he could just pop in and grab some decking oil without talking to anyone, and it ended up looking like newborn poo), and need some help fixing it? The folks at Wynn Fraser absolutely stand by their products and will help you get it right!!
They have guided us through interior/exterior colour selection, kitchen cupboard paint and application, wood decking/soffiting coatings, and numerous other furniture and small projects.
The advice and outstanding customer service is worth far more than the premium charged. One of the best suppliers in town.
