M.We accessed this location courtesy of a Clutha River Cruises jet boat cruise. We were treated to the stunning vista of the Clutha River, the steep shingle bluffs and the remains of the gold miners huts and mining activity. Our guide and pilot Laurence was a font of information and is clearly passionate about this period of European settlement that followed the Dunstan rush. We were treated to some afternoon tea at Doctors Point and the chance to look through the ruins of this gold mining settlement.
