Always convenient for you to get your vehicle parked at secure carpark. Easy to reach anywhere around Britomart and leave your car overnight as well

Ideal parking space for visits to offshore islands which we do every week. The proposed sale of this facility will be detrimental to all those that need to travel by car with their gear for their island visits, working weekends or voluntary work. Needs to be customer/community input to such an important decision.

Fairly "cheap". I mean compared to other car parks in the vicinity. Far cheaper than the Britomart carpark. Carpark wasn't fairly busy...arrived around 10.30am. Used the carpark to walk down to the viaduct and check out the sights. Signs can get confusing when driving up or down levels.

Great parking space if you looking to spend less money n want to have short walk in downtown.. Specially weekend rates are capped for whole day. Better than Wilson n other private players

Easy access to enter and exit. Good bridge walk to get down to the viaduct area. $6 for 3 hours parking on a Saturday afternoon is good value. Digital signage telling you how many parks are free on each level as well as the green lights above the park.

From this parking building, it allows you to go to the pier with 5 mins walk - lots of restaurants, bars, and cafes. 7 mins to Britomart. 4 mins to Queens street where there are hundreds of shops. This parking spot has a wide roadways, so easy driving inside the building. Lights always on. Different parking fee between days and night. Pay through the vending machine on the ground floor. The price is reasonable comparing to the location and safety.

A central car park that is moderately priced and quite clean overall. Had no issues the two times I've used it over the last 2 weeks. Extended stay becomes pricey, but the price seems in line with most other parking in the area. Is looking a bit tired now, especially the toilets. Could do with some TLC and a spruce up.

Normally public car parking in the city can be a nightmare, but this place just feels safe and secure and they charge a fair price. I sincerely hope that this place does not fall into private hands.

Lots of space and 10$ full day parking on weekend is great

Great place and modestly priced in comparison to other car parks around the area.

No need to get a ticket on entrance as cameras scan your number plate. Find yourself a park and go about your business. When you're ready to leave, find a kiosk, tap on your number plate and pay. You then just drive out as the camera on the exit will raise the barriers for you as you've paid

Reasonably priced, close to Viaduct! The only issue is, going with the Ranger gives me anxiety! But it's our parking of choice when going to the city for dinner.

Great location to park.if visiting the Viaduct or Downtown, but very difficult to find your way out of once you have parked..

Good location parking for commercial bay mall / Park and ride for ferry trips.

Use this carpark whenever we visit the viaduct and surrounding area. It's not a big deal, but it may be helpful if there were an indicator of available parks on each level. This visit we ended up on level 7, no higher than level 5 on previous visits. We were here for the Americas Cup race 7 & 8 on Sunday. Love the upgrade to vehicle number plate recognition, therefore no paper tickets required. Hence a speedy exit as well.

Have used this carpark many times over a couple of decades. It's the best one if you are going out in that part of the city or even just to commercial bay. The ticketing solution is great. You create an account to register your cars number plate so when you drive in it is recognized. When ready to leave open the AT park app, put in the location number displayed throughout the carpark entrances and it bills your chosen credit card. You have 15 mins to exit.

I use this carpark everytime when visiting the CBD, it's very convenient.

Good parking facility. Has lots of disabled / mobility carparks very close to the walkway through to HSBC Tower. Great assistance on the departure process by a friendly and helpful person. Not often I drive to the city but it's great to know those people with disabilities, like myself, are being looked after. Thanks.

Parking lot near the quay / wharf opposite to PWC tower, OK Souvenir shop start from 4$ per hour weekday

Great service with valet parking on ground floor. 2hrs free if you spend $50 @ Commercial Bay, in any number of transactions, foodhall stalls or restaurants included. Otherwise good normal parking. Easy access to the viaduct by taking the walkway on 1A, via the walkway, without the need to cross traffic. Also of note is the fact you can use the AT Park app, rather than stand in the queues to pay at machines.

Great tech, no waste of papers/tickets, great price especially weekends :) It can be a tight squeeze if you got a huge vehicle. However, it can be a bit confusing exiting or finding where you parked your car. No colour codes for different storey just numbers on the floor & walls...so that's something to think about.

Needs better signage and green/red lights on weekends

My go to spot for parking in the downtown Auckland area. Night rate is $2/hour which I regard as great value and usually much less than Wilsons charge. The location is super convenient to downtown and also access to the motorways to get home. The parking spaces are pretty tight so if you have a big vehicle you may struggle a little.

We parked here multiple times during our stays in Auckland. It is a very large parking garage and doesn’t often get full. Prices are reasonable for downtown, and it’s the absolute best place to park to access all of the shops and restaurants in the downtown Auckland pier/wharf area. There is even an elevated walkway between the garage and the wharf area so that you can avoid crossing the multiple lanes of traffic. One of our favorite parking garages in Auckland, and fairly reasonable prices. The parking fees are ticketless. You just need to enter your license plate number in the payment machine and pay for your parking before returning to your car, and you will be able to exit without problems. No tickets needed!

Handy roomy parking building, opposite the waterfront. Located beside the Viaduct with a convenient walkbridge across the road.

Missed the green lights that showed empty parks. Little green lights on signage not nearly as helpful.

Affordable good parking in CBD that is accessible to Queen St and Viaduct

One of the cheapest one city car parks, lots of charging points for EV's. Easy to use pay system, no tickets to lose. Fairly narrow parking spaces.

My favourite parking in Auckland city. Very convenient. The money goes to the council. Ticketless now. App payment ok now. Clean. Baby spaces etc. Perfect.

Great rate for a weekend over on waiheke. Use regularly for overnight parking and never any issues finding park or with security. It is cheapest parking in city

Best carpark to reach any of the viaduct restaurants or other hotspots. tips: 1. The reserved carparks on level 1 and other lower levels are open to public during weekends and nights. 2. Use the AT park app to avoid queuing to pay for parking when leaving. 3. Exit to viaduct is best by walking through the walkway on level 2

The Auckland Transport Downtown carpark is a great option if you are heading into the CBD. AT parking rates are normally much better thsn the other options.There are footbridge to both the new commercial bay mall and over to the viaduct restaurant and entertainment Area. A top tip is that if you are heading to commercial bay spending $50 gets you free valet parking at the Downtown carpark.

Parking was fairly well priced, as always carpark is designed poorly for the modern larger vehicles & pay machines stopped working after seaport, so took about an hour to leave the building. Use the app where possible!

With the new license plate recognition system, much more faster and hands-free which is great!!. Also the prices for parking in the city is much more reasonable compared to some parking places around CBD. Great facility, would always recommended use this carpark.

I found it hard to find, but good once I got there.

Very impressed by the new tech in place...tho wasn't happy re exist or entry. Haven't been into the city in ages and with all the constructions around the area...got lost getting into the carpark. Nothing clearly marked for after hours entrance. Value for money after 6pm.

Not so easy to negotiate when you have a disability and there are road and building works going on. Space around the elevators is limited. The lighting and signs indicating available parking spots are helpful. Having 2 exits is also helpful.

What? A review for a parking lot? Well here goes... I parked and I went. Good service. :) Very pleased with the parking slots. Nice green and red indicators to give a quick view of where the parking spaces are, or in my case, where the idiots with unfeasibly small cars park, that don't register with the sensors. Grrr... Oh, and it's cheap enough. Wilson Parking, take note, you rip off merchants.

Great to have indicators as to parking spaces, but green lights sometimes hard to see. If you drive a big car, the parking spaces will be very tight for you. Parking is really expensive, but in line with the rest of CBD pricing. More motorbike parking spaces needed.

Great place for some sick photos on the second to top level. You can shoot out to Queen Street and get all the cars and pedestrians.

Love this car park. The customer service is great if you even want to pay with the booth staff. The car park space is nice and big. There are pram access in the most handle level to the PWC building.

Pricey ($24 for the day mon-fri) but as you would expect in town. There are always parks available, great location if you want access the viaduct or lower Queen Street. Pay machines were not working one day at one of the entrances and there was nothing on the machine itself to indicate where else you can pay but found this on the elevator in the end.

Pricing wasn't bad for an evening given the location. Could be an issue for larger SUV's and Ute's though.

Very big, though the entry paths can be a bit confusing especially if it's your first time. The rate is very wallet friendly, and it's owned by Auckland Council. Have a filled/empty light indicators above each parking spaces to help you find which bay is empty in a floor, as well as a notice board to see whether there are still empty bays in that particular floor or not.

My number one parking building in Auckland CBD. It's so lovely of the council to provide a parking solution that dosent rob you and make you feel like a fool for driving a car in the city. Plenty of parking, getting around is easy as well and there are elevators provided. Paying machines on the bottom floor always work.

It's a very convenient carpark for downtown Auckland and the viaduct. License plate recognition is good but sometimes it doesn't read the plate number properly

I only inquired about this place but it appears to be the cheapest option. I heard a rumour that it has been sold for another purpose... Maybe more apartments. It will be a loss to the city as available parking is limited and expensive!

Now has rego recognition. No tickets needed. Handy parking for Akl waterfront and Britomart but be prepared to go up several flights.

Heaps of spots for our visit to the water front. The price wasn't to bad for a Sunday

Auckland Council carpark, so relatively cheap compared to private ones. Large with lots of spaces. Downside is that with all the construction and roadworks (Feb 2020) it's hard to get to.

Good centrally located carpark run by the council so rates are $3 an hour during the week 6am to 6pm with a maximum charge of $24. If your car is over 1.9m tall then don't park here. Has walkway access on Level 2 to the Viaduct and PwC building. Lost ticket charge is excessive at $72.

Great parking spot for cheaper rates. $12 max on the weekend otherwise $2 per hour, as with all AT parking. Also great for small vehicles and mopeds as these spaces are usually freed up.

Five stars for the price. Four stars because I couldn't unlock my car. Something interfered with the lock and alarm. Vauxhall or car park. I went twice that week, and on the second visit found the lock trigger on a strange angle. Rather a relief.

Good handy place, good price

Good place to park if you're reaching the waterfront/quay street businesses. Many, many parks and many, many floors - remember to keep track of where you've been (everything is colour-coded). They have that cool park finding system with LED's above carparks, so look at the ceiling for green lights (as well as the road in front). Some parks are super-tight, but most of them are manageable - unless you own a Hummer H3, then you're stuffed.

Just a easy way to park and walk into the mall. Everything is so easy and just a awesome place to park when you in the city.

The parking is $4 an hour capped at $24 for the day compared with $6 for 30 minutes in the Wilson car parks next to it. Plenty of space and good size parking bays. Close to Ferries and Sky Tower

Somewhat pricey parking (it's CBD heck), located from a walk away from Britomart. It is usually more vacant than other carparks due to it's remote(ish) location from the core of the city. Max height is 2.4m, so trucks is a no, and vans higher than the toyota vellfire might have some trouble.

5 stars for the carpark. One of the best parkings in town esp during the weekends. BUT.. 1 star for the lady who ended up helping us. Our parking ticket got stuck in one of the machines on level 2 (I think) due to the machine freezing. Called HELP, the lady who answered, asked us to press HELP "from the other machine" (there were 2 machines right next to each other. So we moved to the next one. Then she was very rude saying if we don't call her "from the other machine" she won't be able to help us. She was quite rude in the way she spoke. The second machine also froze btw. She actually meant "the other machine" on a different level. After probing she mentioned that I needed to go to another level. I am not a mind reader. It was absolutely unnecessary for her to be rude as we were polite while asking for help. If she really is unhappy to work at 130 am in the morning I guess she shouldn't be there at all and find another job which doesn't require her to interact with human beings at all. I'm sure after having a great night, nobody wants to come across or speak to a person who is rude and does not know how to instruct. Again, Downtown Parking is great. Just needs better behaved employee. Thank you.

If I'm going to the city I try to always park here. The price is great compared to essentially every other place in the city, and there are always carparks available. Plenty of disabled and parent parking spots as well!

Secure, nice and centrally located, just don't like how the spaces are distributed and moving around the car park can be tricky. But they have spaces most of the time and it is well indicated.

20Nov16 Big, ugly, does the job and generally clean. Good rates off-peak but finding a park in busy seasons can take a while. Walk way suspended above the road and crossing to Viaduct harbour side is very handy. Park here for the Waiheke ferry.

Parked here for the Chinese Lantern Festival today and even though the buses are handy, the walk to Auckland Domain was extremely refreshing. Bonus points for not being too far to walk either!

Great parking facility, neat, accessible, well lit, good marking. Recommend to all. I have 2 minor suggestions - from Nelson St onramp near Market Pl and Fanshswe St intersection perhaps have sing saying which Lane to keep for DT Carpark. Also maybe all access via PWC glassdoors for longer time.

I did 4 round to find the carpark... The downtown car park board is slightly lower. At height of approximately 200cm from ground. Convenient car park and price only 10$ for around 6h+

Lots of space and good early bird parking

I often park here if I'm going out on the razz or over to Waiheke. I leave the car overnight and pick it up the next day and it is a very fair price. It's secure and in a great location.

Needs more public loos and excellent signage to them also. Ticket machine also need daily maintenance. Great that green light pops up when space available.

If we go somewhere around britomart we always park here if not there is another AT near victoria street as well. Always can find parking here in the weekends if there isnt a big event in the city. No idea about the weekdaya though. Good prices all around compared to other places.

Parking on Saturday was cheap, we paid $2 for parking however the stench on the stairs was disgusting. Needs some work done on its cleanliness.

Great place for quick/easy parking. For public parking it may be faster to go straight to level 3 or higher instead of trying to find an open spot on a lower deck.

I use this carpark frequently when I go to the Viaduct or Wynyard Quarter during the weekend. It's quick and easy and there is usually ample parking during the weekend. The rates are also reasonable as opposed to the private carparks.

Thought the food and service very gd with friendly staff

Exactly what you expect, just be careful parking here for a midweek town adventure because it closes during the middle of the night on certain weekdays this leave you without a car so you'll have to Uber home and pay the price of parking in the morning.

In terms of a car park I use no other in the centre, it's great for location and price! Obviously it'd be great if it was cheaper however it still beats all the others in the centre! 5 star (relative to other car parks)

Well priced for a city car park but don't even enter this place if you drive a 4WD. The ceiling clearance is low.

A familiar place for me. Just remember which level you park on (maybe take a photo). And take your ticket with you to pay on your way back to the car.

On a trip to Auckland and found the car 🚘 park to be accessible, reasonable pricing and friendly staff.

Convenient to get to and from due to there being a one-way road directly to and from it. Occasionally the way from is closed/obstructed due to road works for the train work that is going on.
