Did the Goldie Bush Walkway/ Mokoroa Falls Loop that took us approximately 3.5 hours.
We did the walk in winter, and although it had been raining in the previous weeks, it had been dry for a couple of days prior. The Stream trail was mud/ sludge for the entire walk which meant you were slipping over a lot and it was hard to find your footing. There was a total of about 20 stream crossings and the water was thigh-high at times. There were a few sections that involved some basic rock climbing, and the trail markers can be confusing at times (marked by a triangle, so wasn't certain which way it was pointing at times 🔽).
While physically not challenging (mostly flat), considering the above factors the walk was quite difficult. I would recommend to do this walk in summer where you'd enjoy the cool water a little more and the track would be dry.
Mokoroa Falls was a beautiful reward at the end!

Beautiful place for tracking, its more than 3hr track walk so better get there prepared, don’t miss the waterfall like me which is a crown jewel of this place.

A hardish walk through beautiful Kauri forest, we only got to the swing bridge but a lovely place to rest and return to the car park .

Wow it's astonishing and magical place. The pathway, the lakes, the stream, the forest, the waterfalls all. Even the people we found on the way

Peaceful walking and lovely shade. If you want to walk and feel close to nature. This the one of the best. It is closer than you think

Beautiful track. Loop took around 3-3.5 hours walk with stops to taking a pictures. Easy well maintained bush walk and a bit of adventure if you take the route along the stream.

Such an intense hike walking through the stream on the aide of the rocks and with so many slippery points, so intense but worth it about 4 hours #thisisfaroq

A great hike and workout best enjoyed by just everyone who loves nature, long and intense walk. Mokoroa Falls must be a good beauty when it is in all it's glory. We probably just picked the wrong time to visit as not much water was flowing - it was rewarding to get to her nonetheless! 2.5 to 3 hours to and back.

I think this hike was a good workout, the stairs especially. The waterfall is beautiful but I'm rating it a 3 as I feel the scenery was the same i did enjoy seeing the giant dragon flys and stick bugs though. Still worth doing.

Amazing walk, was really unexpected walking through the stream and climbing over rocks. Seriously a little gem.
